I wish more airports were that friendly to plane spotters. I mean they even have a terrace for them, that's awesome. My local international airport, EWR it's almost impossible it seems.

For those who don't know why this plane is special for Mr Van Dam: Fokker F100(i guess) he worked on : Overall length = 35,53m - Wingspan = 28,08 m - Height = 8,5m Now compare to the A380 : Overall length = 72.72 m - Wing span = 79.75 m - Height = 24.09 m The A380 is the largest passenger aircraft ever made

That was just so AWESOME!! The moment you physically side by side with an A380 is another thing you will never forget in your life

Really nice to see at Schiphol the home base of KLM who some years ago when I contacted them that a work colleague who was dying of cancer and going home to Japan and requested a best seat in economy and I found out afterwards was upgraded to business-though it was a lovely caring gesture for someone going home to die! Thank again KLM team.

Im so confused, I liked it so much I want to buy Schiphol products. I already fly with KLM, so I know the Schipohol airport and can at least say that is unbelievably better than CDG (Charles De Gaulle - Paris), CDG is a giant turd compared to AMS.

Sadly, this A380-800 B-6136 operated by China Southern Airline has been retired in Apri 2022. Due to the COVID-19 market strike.

So lovely when Airlines and Airports take the time out from their busy schedules to make someones Dream come True,Well done Schipol the only time I have ever been close to an aircraft was a Virgin 747, when we deboarded at Stanstead, I was very poorly in a wheelchair and unable to appreciate it, and Virgin didn't have the Time nor patience to help my wife & I, I am fully recovered now thank goodness, maybe one day I will get the chance again haha

Respect, humanity, appreciate, senior citizen and exemploye. That is missing in many 3rd world countries, including India.
