How to remove the roof on a 1999-2006 Toyota MR2 Roadster/ MR-S/ MR2 Spyder. This is a fairly simple process can be done with one person but a helping hand to lift it off is handy at the end. Thanks Andy J-Spec
I really enjoyed this video, not only brilliantly showing the process of taking the roof off but also the way you went about doing this job, GREAT video all round, on a side note I did wonder while you were undoing the 10mm nuts round the back edge under the glass you weren’t unplugging the heater window wires, I’m pleased you left this part in, as it shows it’s normal not to remember everything all at once, good on you PS: Forgot to mention the camera work was good too
For a first how to video it was very good 👍🏻. Would happily remove mine now if I needed to. Thanks for my spares by the way, exactly as described & well packaged.
@@blackbox3030 Nope, ANY car with a convertible top drags down the cars acceleration. Plus, convertibles are easy to steal for a thief. Hardtop FOR ME, is the best option. If you want the convertible, you do you.
@@gamemastr7 I reckon the hardtop is way heavier than the soft top, so worse for acceleration. I agree about the security though - using the soft top definitely restricts where I can park it.
This is what I want to do also, remove the soft top and just run the hardtop. I wonder if this is possible, and to reinstall the drain bags and interior without the soft top
