i tried with one of my videos: it had one dislike in yt studio and 0 when i checked it in one site mine is probably not that accurate cause that edit had like 2.4 views only
Its easy to prove that the dislike extention from browser to youtube are accurate or not. Just watch the top 3 or top 5 of your most viewed video using other people close to you youtube account with dislike extension and compare it to the dislike number displayed to your owned video with most views.. Very Basic. The more the date the accurate the evidence..
Yeah, Asmon tried it, the inaccuracy is actually within the range of 30-50% under and over both ways and sometimes it's actually pretty close. The discrepancy from the data that is given by MrBeast team is like around 6000% difference.
If you had a lot of haters told to download an extension and everyone using the extension dislikes, it's going to blow the data out of proportion because its guessing. People who stay off twitter might not know anything about the extension.

The dislike number comes from cached data that was grabbed before RU-vid disabled access to the dislike function in its API, as well as what users that own the extension do. If you have the extension, and dislike a video, then that dislike gets reported to the extension's server and goes toward the dislike count for others with the extension to view. However, if I'm a user without the extension, and I dislike a video, it's not going to be reflected in your count because I haven't reported my dislike to the extension's developer. If a new video was added to YT shortly before the API went down, and the developer didn't have the chance to cache the dislike count at the time. Then let's say that the dislike count was 200. You come along with the extension after the API went down, that means you'll see the dislike count as 0. Then you dislike the video and it becomes 1. Then another user comes in without the extension and dislikes the video; the count for you will still be 1. However, the real dislike count of the video should be 202. This means that the video is worse then what Mr. Beast has allowed. He most likley knows about this and sopped the flow of dislikes before it hit under 50% so the data shows somwhere around 60% The number is only higher or lower depending on who has the youtube dislike extension since 8 hours after the upload which said numbers is negligable. Also the only reason they removed dislikes is because corperations were getting too many dislikes on their videos so they forced youtube to remove it.

The extension actually does both overestimate and underestimate the dislikes. I’ve seen almost a dozen different people on RU-vid and steamers check live what the ratios are. The extension provides a number that is roughly 35%-60% to the north or south of the actual number. However, that is still much higher than the number percentage that Mr.Beast and Keem are claiming.
Asmongold made an assumption that on high viewcount videos the dislikes are not calculated correctly or that there is some sort of bug on youtube. Idk if you specifically mean asmon with the difiation but it's about the same as the precentage you mentioned. But heres my argument, it calculates a % of people who potentially disliked the video by the amount of people who disliked the video with the extention. II believe that when the video released a lot of people dislike bombed the video and those people are mostly extension users so the app guessed when 200k people dislike the video and 5k people liked the video while the video has 1.5 million views,there must be an actual amount of dislikes of 1.4 million. Also youtube by now most likely removes dislike bombing from they high viewcount videos. We don't actually see the numbers so we don't know what they are doing now but it would be reasonable to assume they do.

@@TheDarkbogiTV It can be wrong by like 30-60%. Often it's within 10%. It's never wrong by that many orders of magnitude. It never gets inflated by 10000%. We all know there's a reason for there to be more dislikes. There is controversy surrounding Mr Beast and his brand right now. He's lucky his core fanbase is children who don't go on commentary channels much. He's still getting most of his likes that his old videos did. But now there are more than a million dislikes from adults who do watch commentary channels. Dogpack's video has been viewed by nearly 10 million people. They're trying to claim a 99.6% like ratio while going through controversy. That's better than their normal pre-controversy videos which do average around 98%. I would have expected at least in the low hundreds of thousands of dislikes. But I fully believe the real number is in fact in the millions. It may even be underestimated by the plugin. The fact that they're trying so hard to pretend that it's not happening makes me suspect it's even worse than it appears to us.
RU-vidrs just reconfirmed the 3rd party extension is close enough, and even underreports. Seeing Mr Beast's dislike numbers actually tells me that the extension is more trustworthy than RU-vid's actual stats because RU-vid is manipulating them for Mr Beast.

Hear me out : Some time traveller from 2024-2025 experienced this Mr. Beast controversy, went back in time, then paid RU-vid (Since Kris, if I recall correctly, was doing this sort of thing behind the scenes when...) to remove dislikes. Not too far back, but not too present. Why would Mr. Beast fake his dislikes on Twitter? ... to be honest, I don't really know since the people who would see them on Twitter would *probably* see these videos all around RU-vid.
asmongold also tried doing this with his own channel and found that the extension can be inaccurate both ways, underestimating and overestimating but the difference between, what youtube analytics said, and what the extension showed, was never above 160% difference in his examples the difference between the numbers Mr Beast is showing and what the extension is showing is over 6000%, so he is definitely lying, but that doesn't mean the number shown by the extension is accurate either
OH NO. That last clip is insane given the context now. Even for back then very questionable. I hope other big channels pick up on that and start spreading that around. All of it needs to be uncovered so people make see the full picture of these freaks.
I can also confirm that the dislike extension underestimates how many dislikes you get however its pretty accurate also. My top 3 videos have 243-1, 357-4 and 211-1, two of which were exact and the only difference is the 2nd one was predicted at 357-2

The reason why mrbeast need to be gone is because someone who has almost AS MUCH FOLLOWERS AS PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES should not be lying and doing illegal things that is wayyy too much influence.
Return RU-vid dislike calculates how many people with the extension liked vs disliked and then assumes that number is the same for people that don't have the extension, so it keeps that ratio but on a larger scale based on what the like count is. Problem is, most of the dislikes are from people who aren't children and know what the extension is.
I remember once watching hes upcoming, he had way less then a million subscribers, cant remember the exact number. He hit a car in the parking garage and bought the people he hit a new car and called hes mom in the process. Back then it already didnt feel genuine, felt more like a way to get big for him, because he didnt start hes channel this way, it grew and grew by managing it this way. He is not a born philanthropist, just a born content creator.

I just did the comparison of dislikes count on my main channel with yt studio analytics vs extension, the extension is pretty much accurate. The extension only showed undermined ½ amount of dislikes for one of my videos where thr actual dislikes were 7 and the one my extension showed was 3. He legit contradicts himself in the video by saying "everyone's telling me I've been paid off by mr beast" which obviously indicates wayyy more people than 40k disliked the video

I believe the company that has the extension already stated they arent' using any guess work. Only dislikes shown are those by people using the extension. It isn't accurate because people watching may not use the extension and their dislikes are not counted. Which typically means that the number of dislikes shown by the extension is usually lower than the actual number. The sniff to this is the fact that the NEGATIVE comments are all receiving more likes on the video than what the Mr Beast is trying to claim is the actual number of dislikes. Also, other big youtube content creators went through their stuff in videos to compare the dislikes from the Content Studio reported by RU-vid and the figure shown on their videos from the extension and the values were usually pretty similar within a 10% range at most.
while I agree that Keemstar is lying, your argument doesn't really hold much ground since you only took data from 1 video. it is true that in your case that it estimated half of the actual dislike amount, it might not always be the case, it could also overestimate by little, or a lot. Especially since the extension relies on users that have the extension, it gets more accurate the more dislikes there are. So I would assume that Mr Beast's video the dislike ratio is accurately estimated
What is this? 2016? I haven’t heard Keem being called “Gnome” since then. A good chunk of the comedic clips on this video are from 7-8 years ago and you even included streams from Leafy to support your points. Were there no clips from recent times that could have been used? And including “Lacrimosa by Mozart and Winter by Antonio Vivaldi as background music just to make your video more “dramatic” because it’s really lacking seriousness at this point. We know RU-vid is going to favor their biggest creators and will never make it easy to show the real like/dislike ratio. But this is really not that big of a deal. Sure mrBeast is a hot topic (I will not comment on him), but this video is extra dramatic for views sake. Not much substance my friend. I enjoyed the classical music tho..
I see your point, in my opinion your goal as a youtuber should be to try and do your best to entertain your audience. As a commentary channel, making a serious or non-serious situation funny and enjoyable is essential and helps make your personality stand out in the video. How you do it is obviously completely subjective and your humor differs from mine obviously and that is fine. On keemstar though ever since keemstar quit youtube, there have been far less things to actually call him out on because of it :)
it is hard to draw conclusion on the accuracy of the dislike extension when the only data you show us are two separated cases. One in which it missed the mark by 100% and the other is a random ass video you could have cherry picked. I do think that MrBeast did get a shit ton of dislikes but for accuracy sake I wish you would calculate more grounded statistics when drawing overarching conclusion like "it underestimates the likes" or it "settles in correctlyafter some time". But anyway glad you could escape the Hoyo hole and wanna see more videos from you.
I actually didn't cherrypick and here's why: DISLIKE EXTENSION ON OLDER VIDEOS ARE ALWAYS ON POINT! (Showed one example, the others are all the same) However, I only had ONE new video which was the one I posted 2 days ago about MrBeast, so that was unfortunately all the data I had to go off of. But its still WAY more believeable than the 20k dislikes the mrbeast crew presented LMAO

Keemstar does have a point, BUT THE THIRD PARTY EXTENSION DETECTED 87,000 DISLIKES FROM PEOPLE USING THE EXTENSION WHICH MEANS MR BEAST IS LYING ABOUT ONLY HAVING A COUPLE THOUSAND
