Parents need to be pro-active and not leave children to their own devices. Get to know who they hung out with and talk with their children everyday on what's happening in their lives. Don't leave it too late until they're brainwashed either by friends, outsiders, tv, music, film, etc. Instill confidence in your child esp when peer pressure can be challenging. Control and monitor their social media usage. I remember the sister who was harrassed when she warned people of the male identified as female who allegedly gbr00m children including underage by encouraging them to go against their parents and join his private chats, etc.

Very true, lots of parents don't take an interest in what their children are watching. It's often seen as a free baby sitting service. At a very young age, children get exposed to all sorts of themes and it does mess them up mentally. I see it so much in my job working with children. Take an interest in your kid and what they watch.
