Listening to this side by side with the original, Mree has certainly achieved what her album back then entailed--growth. From the production, to her voice, harmonies, and adlibs! The changes only accentuated the beauty of this song, which was already there to begin with 🤍

this song holds sort of a sad nostalgia for me, got me through a lot back in high school. I even have a tattoo of breathe easy on my shoulder to carry it with me forever. very cool to hear a reimagined version ❤

There's a song by Drake called 'Over My Dead Body' that was released 12 years ago and Chantal Kreviazuk sings in it. If Mree was to sing the intro portion and the chorus and turn that into its own song, I do not think I would be able to stop listening to it. This song made me think of that.

Hi Mree! I've been listening to this on repeat for days, it's so beautiful!!! But could you tell me what the words of the background chorus are at 2:06? I think I can hear '... the walls come down', but not the first part of it. Happy holidays!!!
