Thank you for bullying Brian for me Nigel, and for affirming my views on how much the UK sucks to these guys 😂 was a pleasure to edit this, and I’m so glad you’re loving it in LA!
You are the fucking jam, Nigel!! I've been a fan since day one. I actually use Haiyaa and Fuiyoh so often that it pisses off my close friends. They don't like being shamed in languages they don't understand.
Let's see TikTok turned on its communist ear, and drop some epic Uncle Roger moments on there. They're so eager to dominate the short video format, let's see how far they'll go.
It was an absolute pleasure to edit this, especially with Nigel and Paul bullying Brian. So much gold through this episode, popped a stitch or two cackling as I ran through the timeline. Here’s to doing more episodes like this lads 🍺
Personally I like it when Brian is transparent and honest about his struggles. I like having a person who feels real and relatable while also being successful. RU-vid has enough fake talking heads, we need more people with the bravery to tell it like it is.
Absolutely. There is a traveling van guy who made a magnificent video detailing his not just his very real struggles during the beginning of his van building, but his efforts to overcome them, and then removed it because he thought it was too depressing. But it was actually the video that got me to subscribe to him and come back enthusiastically for more, hoping he would develop and grow and bump into more interesting challenges and hopefully some happiness and success. If you've already achieved everything, if you have no journey, what is there to watch?
@@MarcIverson I could not agree more, I want to see the journey and the destination. The best thing about watching Brian and Frenchie is that you can have both and it's always entertaining.
Fattheads Unite!🎉🎉We're making history today boys! 😮 Time to get fatt with some Uncle knowledge!.Love this collaboration, you've made my day yet again! ❤
Just so you know, I still watch Beat Bobby Flay. I was searching for chefs on YT and recognized you from the very first episode I watched. 😊 I thought it was so cool that you’re establishing a social media presence because it doesn’t seem like a lot of the other contestants and other chefs know how to take advantage of the different platforms.
Hello from the 10% Club to Brian, Frenchy and Nigel. Perfect timing to coincide with my lunch as usual. I used to listen to the Rice To Meet You pod with Nigel and Evelyn, before Nigel got to Millions of subs. So looking forward to this!
I have to get up. I start work in less than an hour. You upload when my alarm goes off, and I like to save this for after work while I make dinner. It's gonna be a tough day waiting for 5 pm! 😂❤
The problem with current tipping isn’t with the fanciest restaurants who have high expectations for the wait staff, it is with every other food service expecting 15-20% tips for counter service or even takeout. Also, multi-billion dollar companies should not have below minimum wage tip employees.
@@gss6531 I’m my eyes we need to be payed well, and get tips as a bonus. Especially when servers work hard!!! I don’t mind giving a bonus tip, but still having a good wage. Sadly if you work in any food or retail jobs, you sometimes expect a tip due to the fact that we don’t get paid well at all. In my state a minimally livable, but not fully livable wage is 30.
Thank you…. You all give some levity to an audience that fights depression. I so appreciate the smile and momentary happiness both your channels give me.
I like to think of whenever Brian shows Frenchie a video he's already reacted to, it's like when a girlfriend shows her boyfriend a funny meme video or her favourite movie and is watching for his reaction to see if he'll love it too.
I love your reactions to reactions and your reactions to Frenchy's reactions to reactions lol. But I am LOVING this podcast. It's your best content in my opinion. AND I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE UNCLE ROGER/NEPHEW NIGEL ON! You guys are killing it
I never fully watch podcasts. They are usually just open in the background. But I watched this from beginning to end, and that is saying something. Love you guys. And Nigel better give you two the Uncle title after this lol
OMG this was epic! Thanks to uncle Roger for being honest and Brian for doing an excellent job with the flow of the podcast. The only thing that would have been better, is comment reactions or some of the current events you cover in normal podcasts. That would easily be a 3 hour or two part podcast.
Yes!!! I was a little bummed that it was not like that. I was very curious to see how Nigel would react to the usual things in the podcast. Do one more with Nigel with all those stuff!
It’s great seeing you reconnecting with Nigel Ng. I hope while you were in LA, the three (with Nigel as Uncle Roger) of you did a reaction video together and/or a food/cooking video competing for the “Uncle” title. Hope you enjoyed yourselves and had some great food in LA. Come to North Cal and spend some time in the different wine regions. Wine and beer culture is not dead. You just have to know where to find it.🍾🥂🍻
Loved this actually have watched it 3 times now Brian you and frenchy rock and uncle roger is one my favorite characters on RU-vid keep up the great work guys can’t wait to see Nigel on y’all’s show again cheers 🍻
Don't worry Frenchy I've watched a lot of these videos before Brian even reviewed them, i'm sure most of the viewers will agree we want to watch your reaction because we genuinely enjoy it, same as watching Brian's reactions. I like Brian for the information he brings to the table, and I enjoy your reactions because of your down to earth and real perspective, also you're funny.
Frenchie reacting to cooking videos is way better than Brian reacting, sorry Brian. French is like Uncle Roger all anger and disappointment. Brian is like a cooking teacher, just saying what they should have done.
Love this episode! I was gonna say about tipping, I used to work as a hairstylist where I had a base rate and then get tips having that structure really makes a difference. I changed careers (I changed to graphic design which really made me sad when you talked about ai because that hit too close to home) and I actually make less than what I did doing hair and I used to work less hours (I worked in a sport clips so lots of quick cuts and trying up sell products) because of the amount of tips I would make (I also have a lot of carpal tunnel in my right hand and I’m happier out of that industry even though there is tech that could replace me, it’s fine because we need someone running that tech and I’m building my skills to be that person)
I understand the perspective of nigel about Europe. For rich people and if you want to make a lot money America is the way to go. For the average Joe Europe is definetly better.
The tipping thing is interesting. I live near the border of one state with a fairly high minimum wage and one where tips can make up part of the minimum wage, and I tip very differently depending on which side of the border I'm on.
LOLOLOL the cases of peas had me laughing so hard lolololol frency should just embrace it and try all the types of peas he has to like one. snow peas are good
You know what here's a food for thought; how about Uncle Roger goes on a paranormal haunting in different countries but in a documentary format since we're talking about expanding the Uncle Roger brand (apart from food, music and stand up comedy)? Nigel gets to keep his Uncle Roger persona while he goes exploring into the creepy unknown. That's gonna be a hit for another different target audience. Anyways it's just a thought now i'm nearing towards the end of the interview 🤷🏻

It’s so beautiful out I see and hear how far you have come Brian. It feels like yesterday I saw your first reaction. It feels like just yesterday I was hoping to see you upload this very video; and it wasn’t until today it’s finally happened. It’d be wrong if I didn’t follow through, in long and tiresome journey it appears your party of companions has finally grown with the addition of this legendary wayfarer of the internet and venturer of life; Uncle Roger has to be a Bard. I’d called it quite similarly with Frenchie, but I must admit he’s truly a wizard (wise and well taught in his knowledge man who’s earned what he knows) and from what I’ve seen Guga is still a sorcerer born with the talent and without equal in his field and as wise and ever transparent - you’ve a clarity and awareness that I don’t think most creators are willing to present. Shits Sage af. Glad to see a favorite creator of mine thriving. Keep it up, you’re killin it.
Calling Indians not Asians is funny. India is now the largest populated country in Asia! I always called myself an Asian even when it was was not cool as per nephew nigel. I always thought being Asian was cool. Martial arts, spices, tea, and Maths are integral part of Indian culture and Asian as a whole.
dear uncle roger, if the USA west coat is boring because they only want a single cocktail, you should come to Cookeville TN. we love to drink and we tip well (at least I and my friends do). i will say that our cost of living and therefore what you might earn is less than other places, but it won't cost you a lot to come here!
"no one's going to want to work for that little amount of money" As an American who's never worked in a job eligible for tips but started at 7.25 at 16....I HATE this culture so much. Pay them more money and make the food more expensive or get people who will. I HATE this entitled bs behavior
I've been in all areas of the restaurant business. First a good server who makes a lot of money as an entertainer. I averaged $11 an hour at the 1980s. Add people want servers to accept 10 or 12 an hour in 2024. It is people who have no clue of what it's like to be a server. By the way I loved people coming in and looking down on me who made far less than I did and worked more hours at hated their job
