You can see the love they have for each other and its the sweetest I've ever seen!!! I just discovered Mrs Browns boys and I absolutely LOVE it!! The family doing it all together is amazing and hilarious!!!
This is the best darn funny show ever! I can't help but roar and cry tears and pee all at the same time. This is the best medicine in the world...and exactly what the world needs now!!! Thank you for the joy and good feelings.🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏❤
These two are so adorable and loving to each other, even after 24 years together. True Love. All that laughing must be part of what keeps them together
My husband and I absolutely love Mrs. Browns Boys and wish to see all of the episodes here in America because we are watching a select few as repeats but we still watch them over and over again.
That’s so awesome. I’ve waited years to watch the shows in the USA. I watch them every night as I head to bed. And in the afternoon. It must have been such a thrill to have met them all. That would be amazing.
@@celestemoulton272 it was great. The chef was a bit of a mardy arse. He also has been in the show a few times. Had a right laugh with them. They always said hello and talked to you. Their irish staff was a real joy to work with. I thought my katy pery shift was good but this one was great.
Irish dad moved to Canada in the 70's in the 80's we would watch alot of BBC ..Benny hill Dave allen, Are you being served Dad passed away in 84' Watching Mrs Brown Dad I hear Dad's humor ..Son where da fak are you off to now? Aww don't be daff ...He would of loved Mrs brown How great are theses two ..Love each other Love what they do Travel everywhere and get paid ...better then a lottery
It's nice to hear that you and your dad share a sense of humour, every time you catch something like Mrs Brown you can laugh along with him. All the best.
that part about people saying they know a mrs Brown, i'm not saying my Grandmother was a man in a f*****n dress but, its my Gran, same hair, glasses, cardigan, tissue in the pocket, even the walk, My Gran was Polish and could be just as feisty as Mrs Brown too, but also the sweetest kindest person you could meet. Every time i watch Mrs Browns boys it makes me think of her.
@@chapo335 My grandmother and grandfather were 2 or 3rd generation Irish-American and according to my mother her mom could tell jokes that might have made Mrs Brown blush. Yet, her grandchildren knew her as a lovely woman in the mold of Mrs Brown in her tender moments. I can imagine Grammy Barrett and Mrs Brown would have been 2 peas in a pod. My Mom? A bit like what you would have if you blended equal parts Winnie McGooghan and Hyacinth Bucket.
5:31 “It’s a man in a dress!” Yes, but the character reaches out to people and touches their lives, very similar to Mrs. Doubtfire. Mrs. Brown is very realistic.
Brendan O'Carroll breaks the 4 wall better than anyone I have seen. Besides the others are scripted that way. It makes us feel part of the show and cracks us up.
PLEASE make more TV shows!! PLEASE!! We watch them here in Pittsburgh, PA on BritBox, bought the DVDs just in case, and watch a few episodes every night. They are absolutely awesome! All of them, including Buster, Rory (the 'first' Rory), and Bono! We love them!
I have the DVD set too. I got it after watching episodes here on RU-vid. Unfortunately, what is on the DVDs isn't the whole show. The show, at least from what I can gather, at some point started with a tribute to a mother in the audience. The mother would be selected from "entries" submitted by her children and she would be "notified" when Mrs Brown started reading off a list of her unusual habits that were sent in, with a short video, by her family. The mother chosen that week got a cash prize and a chance to double her winnings with a very unusual but humorous game.
Just this past year discovered MBB on RU-vid..even with the alien sound distortions and 1/8 screen pics full of falling snow..(they have to ruin the production effects to be allowed)..the show is freakin'...(Mrs. Brown would use another term)...awesome! Rarely have I spent about half of any tv program literally bent over laughing!! Her interactions with Winnie and Granddad are 'freakin' priceless!!
Best show on TV. I totally love it. I have every episode on dvd and have also been to see it live in Birmingham where I met the cast afterwards outside backstage door. Now that was amazing 👏
wow I haven't laughed so much as much as last night Glasgow.Thankyou to the whole cast and the ppl who work behind the scenes.Haste ye back guys Stay safe and take care x
I have worked with a lot of famous comedians over the years as a Compere on road shows, and I hear what Brendan says. Many comedians are far from funny off-stage, I worked quite a bit with Sir Lenny Henry in the early eighties, one of the most talented artist ever, but off-stage, very quite and serious, the complete opposite of the person you see on your TV, he has created a 'persona', and could instantly in a split second turn into the 'Lenny Henry' we all think we know, and after he walked off stage instantly go back to being the man behind the mask. Max Miller, one of the best comedians ever said 'on stage Max Miller is the cheeky chappy that everyone love, off stage I am nothing'.
stumbled across "Mrs. Brown's Boys" on BritBox here in the U.S. Brendan seems to be one of the smarter comics of our time, and when he/she breaks the 4th wall... hilarious!
Yes, & the actor that plays Dermot Brown in the show is their son Danny's best friend in real life. Buster is Brendan's son in real life, Betty is Danny's wife in real life, & Trevor is married to Brandon's daughter Fiona in real life. It's a real family show. Wish it was on in the U.S. it's such a good show.
We may be on different sides of the pond but I can see similarities between Mrs. Brown's family and my Hispanic relatives. My Mom looks like Mrs. Brown, the only difference is she wears a kerchief. Thank You All I usually laugh so hard I almost fall off the recliner. 🌷🎈😎
@@andyroughyed3642 Brendan O'Carroll is brilliant. He took himself from dire circumstances and used humour to lift himself up out of poverty. His intelligence and sense of humor in spite of it all reflects true Irish tenacity. Mrs. Brown's Boys never fails to have me laughing no matter how I feel at the moment.
Here's a brilliant idea why not make another Mrs Browns Boys series into cartoon show, because for years Mrs Browns Boys has become a very successful comedy show and made a spin off of " All Round to Mrs. Brown's". So why not make the next spin off of Mrs Browns Boys as cartoon show, we always seen some cartoon sketch in the opening intro many time and I alway wonder what it would be like if they turn Mrs Browns Boys into a cartoon show for adult like Rick and Morty, Bob's Burgers, Mr Hell's Show, Robot Chicken and the other adult's cartoon shows.
A part of me wishes they kept the blooper reel stuff in the movie as it would of made it more like the live/t.v shows but, understandably, they couldn't it is just a shame thats all.
