What a treat to see the original Irish series. Thank you!! Such a fabulous cast and over the years has only become more entertaining. Knowing the actual connection among the actors makes the show even more special.
SHE REMINDS ME SO MUCH OF MY MOTHER WHO PASSED AWAY AROUND 20 YEARS AGO.. SHE HAD THE BEST, AND DIRTYEST, SENCE OF HUMOUR... ALWAYS JOKING AROUND! She loved watching British Sit-Coms!
And to just say , the Dragonfly is an affiliation in my family as well , to my seven sisters and Mom , I am the eldest as well of 10 including myself and three brothers, the 4th youngest age 52 of my sisters (Sheila ) passed of cancer in 2013 , and my Mother in 2017 after cancer treatment but dies of a stroke she was 80 yrs. , so my sympathy & condolences to you & yours ❤🕊️🙏🕊️💝 Love The Dragonfly motifs including in your decor on Mrs.Brown's Boys set and Remembrance sentiments , A Nice Touch🕊️🙏😇🙏🕊️👍💕
It’s great to have true friends stay by your side but also to make you laugh what I like about these episodes yes they are based in Ireland of course but it shows how they go about their day to day happiness weather it’s work or school of of different genders but also this episode is about thinking you have to change to fit in but also going through pain just to prove people wrong

Thank you Arron! Fantastic to see how the show we love to watch has evolved. Both myself and my husband find the BBC version just so funny and like Mrs Brown I have to be careful with wetting my pants too as there are times when it's just so hilarious.🤣🤣🤣Great to see the original inspiration and we will be catching up with these fascinating insights into how it all began 🥰
It the same with BBC Canada vs The US version.the USA one has all the great shows, but here it is basically Home and gardens (HG tv)with 9ne or if lucky 2 shows, squeezed in.
I've been almost every episode of Mrs Brown to date I don't ever recall this series at all I've seen the material from this exact episode but they look completely different and the sets are not the same oh sweet Maker I'm getting a headache
@@Showtime6192009 Very cool! Obviously I remember these storylines from the live audience show, but I also like that they add a bit of realism as well. It may not be as punched up as what I’m used to, but I can see why it got picked up. Also love the around the town scenery they show
Yeah I remember watching these as a child, I still have the original dvds. It's remarkable how few know about these tho and I suppose that's why so many similarities between this and the live shows went unnoticed
@@Showtime6192009 Really? Wow I didn’t know that. I have to say I like the newer one better all around, but I can see where they got the storylines from. Interesting to see the original. Thank you for posting it
@@annasantostefano6826 your Welcome, b4 it was even a TV show on Irish TV it was a Radio Show. After the Irish Series they did do a live show b4 doing the BBC show and more Live Shows.
These episodes are from the original series that was not filmed in front of a live audience. When it was re done for the new series, some of the characters were changed as well as all the sets etc.
This original series looks lower budget, and has more elements of a soap opera, with some comedy thrown in. The newer series looks much better, and is pure comedy.
What do you mean year??? What year did I upload it?? What year did I get it??? Or what year was it originally came out??? Please be a bit more precise in ur question.
EVERYONE Asking the Same Question just Read the First Explanation THIS IS NOT WHAT WE'VE SEEN ON TV AROUND THE WORLD IT IS AN EARLY VERSION BEFORE BEING PICKED UP BY THE BBC AND EVERYTHING CHANGED!! SUCK IT UP AND ENJOY OR MOVE ON THE POOR GUY WHO POSTED CAN'T REPEAT HIMSELF ANY FURTHER OK 🥴🤪🤤😳😁🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hear, hear, well said! There really are some bloody morons making comments on youtube and if anyone doesn't find anything to do with Mrs Brown's Boy's funny then they must be brain dead!
This new version is not as good as the older one. The replacement staff are not as good, Mrs. Brown's wig is terrible and makes her look decrepid, this one has many outdoor scenes whereas the original was cozy and sweet with the old comfy furnishings. Mostly. Mrs Brown had a sweetness in the old show she doesn't have here. Why do a new version when the original was beautifully and hilarious done?
Who puts dogs into homes when they get old or disabled? Not only does this never happen ( dogs are put into homes because the *owner* can't or won't look after them ), she talks about there being 'lots of fields with lots of space to run about', if it's a home for elderly & disabled dogs how would they be running about? This is horrendous writing & the standard did not improve at the BBC, in fact they had the arrogance to reuse these scripts. None of it makes any sense, that's the trouble. The grandad looks barely older than Mrs Brown & is seen running, he'd be well over 100 years old in reality. Her daughter says 'we knew you'd forget', who forgets their *own* birthday? For comedy like this to work it has to be believable, nothing about the show is, it's literally as if a 6 year old child had written it.
