Your block looks good those are insert seams and that is hard to do they should have given you directions on how to see that together.

Thank you so much! The instructions are very limited and definitely not for beginners. I haven't sewn in years but I still remember enough but these seams I could not remember how to get them together but somehow I managed.

I would have done it in half, so the center seam would match better.

So apparently you have to tweak it. I primarily subscribed for the templates, but the fabric is a bonus. Nice sewing machine.

The pillow was a learning experience for me for sure and I have learned I am not a paper template person. I retired the machine that I used on this project because honestly I just wore it out completely by sewing on it for hours daily. Thanks for watching!

I’m not sure how I would attack the last two center seams.

I think it would be easiest to make the pillow top in halves first and then sew straight across the center seam. I believe that would have made the center thickness easier to deal with because I would have realized it should have been pressed tight before doing sewing the two pieces together. Live and learn and better ideas for next one.
