I had a teacher who would make us do the “I’m a little teacup” dance to get a pencil. 3rd grade math. And my 7th grade science teacher made us give him our phone for a pencil, and we didn’t get it back until we gave him the pencil back.

I love that when I was a kid I'd expend so much effort to write an essay as short as I could get away with. Now that I write for a living, if I have a word limit my first draft is usually 4-5 times the max.

I remember fifth grade, my teacher's name was also ms. Woolley I don't think it was you, but who knows. Because that summer I went to go see the Jurassic movie thing at the theaters in summer of 2017 and I saw my teacher there and that was the last time I saw her

the school provides ELEMENTARY SCHOOL KIDS with their own laptop? thats crazy, unless its a weird ass middle school that includes 5th grade, then thats the COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY INSANE part, are yall in canada, in the US middle school is SUPPOSED TO BE GRADES 6 7 AND 8 but there are schools that COMPLETELY MISS THAT POINT TBH

Well I’m 6 grade now but I started middle school in 5th grade so I graduated in fourth grade lol.I never thought I was a actual middle schooler because others schools said that middle schooler started in 6th grade ,I don’t go public school which is probably why the grade rules or whatever are different.I got my first laptop in 3th grade and kept getting them for the other grades so fourth grade fifth grade and so on I kept getting laptops for each grade ,this was mostly because of the pandemic so the school provided us with laptops so we can homeschool/go on zoom and Google classroom ,now when the pandemic started fading a little ,I was going to start fifth grade in person ,we still use laptops in 5th grade even though we were back in person.My sister last year which was in kindergarten has her own laptop and now my sister is in first grade right now and still has her own laptop because the school provided her with it. I guess the corona virus effected school learning.lol

same we had sharp and dual pencil cups the teacher took them away and made a pencil cost 1 pride buck (our school's tickets you get for being good) and if you didn't have a pride buck she would take your book and give it back once you gave the pencil back

I did 6th grade I started the school year in Fort Wayne Indiana and then after a few months moved to Ohio and the curriculum was so different. As a student stuff we hadn't or were just learning was stuff they had already learned that year. It seems that the education in Indiana isn't has great as the on in Ohio however ot could have been the school district and where we were at in the school year
