What is MRSA? MRSA is a strain of Staphylococcus aureus, or staph for short. It’s often referred to as a superbug due to its resistance to the widely-used beta lactam antibiotics.

For IV treatment, many clinicians are moving away from vancomycin as a first line due to its renal-toxicity which require therapeutic drug monitoring. Also, MIC for vancomycin tends to be higher, which render the drug ineffective at usual doses or too renal toxic at high doses. Many newer antibiotics such as ceftaroline and linezolid are preferred, but they tend to be more expensive.

Mine didn't seem to bad just took the medicine and let it heal up. Just couldn't workout because of the medicine and it would've gotten the dirty also.
