The Cunard MS Queen Anne heads to Liverpool for the naming ceremony. Arriving into Liverpool early on 6th June 2024, the new vista class Cunard cruise ship, docks at Liverpool Waterfront. Drawing a tremendous crowd, people turn up in huge numbers to celebrate another iconic, maritime landmark for the city.
Queen Anne is the latest is the Cunard lineup of super class cruise ships, following in the footsteps of Mary 2, Elizabeth and Victoria. At the time of filming Anne is the second biggest of Cunard's fleet, to Mary 2.
A full performance ceremony took place at the Liverpool Waterfront, followed by a stunning fireworks display, before finally setting sail down the River Mersey at 10:15pm.
