@@xtensionxward3659 There are a lot of Windows commands that not exist in MS DOS or have other switches to attach. Windows is running in the graphic mode, but MS DOS is running in vga text mode. Windows is running in the 32 bit or 64 bit protected mode of the CPU, but MS DOS is running in the 16 bit real address mode of the CPU without any protection. This is the most significant difference between Windows and MS DOS. No protection means the user is the only one big boss of the entire system to do what ever the user want to do without to get a message of a protection violation. In Windows the kernel is the big boss and the user is a prisoner in a virtual concentration camp with watchtowers and electric barbewires and some of the pig brothers ars watching you around the clock.
@@Bhopperbam12 cmd and dos use the same language (batch) but cmd is not the core of windows anymore since windows 2000 and up are nt based, only an app to execute commands
