Hi, you may be the person to ask, I hope you are. Why is my table of contents always on the right page of my Word manuscript. Even when I (seemingly) place it on the left side, the small outside margin shows the page is still on the right!! It messes everything up, I don't get it. Do you have an answer and solution for this? Thanks.
Hi, It sounds like there’s a style setting moving your TOC to the right. One suggestion would be to: 1. Delete the TOC 2. Click into the blank space where the TOC used to be. 3. Select Normal from the Styles on the ribbon (top of screen). The aim here is to purge are rogue setting in the background. 4. Insert a new TOC. Does that work?
