Hello, In the paperwork I have, it states resistant. This is not the ATEX rated version. If you would like me to check with a manufacturer rep, I would be glad to.
@@firefightertdc I’m not familiar with the ATEX rating….can you explain. I’m trying to put together a SAR helmet that can be used on land and in water rescue without having to reconfigure it for different missions. I like the integrated light, especially since it uses AA batteries, which aligns with the rest of my gear, but I don’t want to have to take it off when I work boats vs land ops.
@@motor2of7the rep I worked with for this helmet confirmed both versions of the headlamp can be used in that function (water rescue). I just got his message now.
