We are sailing out of Miami, Florida on an eventful 7 day journey to MSC's private island Ocean Cay, Ochos Rios, Jamaica, Georgetown, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico. Norwegian Bliss had a similar Muster this past year when they tried to re-institute in-person muster. A lot of wasted time and angry passengers after a super delayed embarkation on top of it. Guest Services claimed this would be the way for all cruise lines once again... Carnival, Princess, Holland America never returned to in person muster and rumor has it, Norwegian has reversed this old/new way of doing things again because of the unnecessary problems it creates. MSC has got to figure out a better way than this. At least you rolled through embarkation with ease.

Yes I hear Norwegian was going back to the old school muster. It is so much wasted time. I pray no1 goes back to that way and glad to hear they reversed it because it kills the vibe. Embarkation day is supposed to be exciting! People should have to dread this process because it takes away from the fun and joy of cruising. Yes we were so shocked to see how fast we got through check in, but we hear things picked up later after we had already boarded. Thanks for stopping by. 😁

Fam that dang embarkation was a whole mess for us at 11:30 and that muster was a pure fool lol. I hope they see this video so they can get on the up and up. It was so good meeting y’all onboard now we fam!

A mess??? What? I guess we just got there during the sweet spot. Man, they need to revamp this whole muster process cuz somebody could really get hurt with everybody pushing and bumping into each other down those stairs. Oh yea! So glad we met yall. Yall good people. We locked in now!

Hey!!! Yea... they've got to change something up with that muster. It's a real buzz kill. PJ is ALWAYS on the dace floor. Anytime he hears music he turns up. Lol yea she pushed through as good as she could. Seems like a hot shower, a good nap, and some HGTV did some good for her. Lol 🤣

Love the first vlog of 2.0. I hate that your experience of the muster drill was horrible but I agree if they had called by floors it would have been smoother. I guess because I was on 5 I didn't have those issues. It was great meeting the family and can't wait to meet again.

It wasn't even old school. It was just a mad dash to get your card scanned and that's it. Everybody going every which a way was just a mess. And yes she's broken in now so shouldn't be a problem next time lol

Hey fam! Good to see your God-daughter cruising with you this time! Love seeing people experience cruising for the first time. It is crazy to me that they would schedule private events and the muster drill at the same time. And the sailaway party at the same time as dinner?! I gotta say though, a sunset sailaway looks amazing! And PJ always gets me hype to cruise 😂😂. We definitely have not forgotten karaoke Dee! Wait, kids coughing on y’all necks ? 😫🤢. Cache had a great time. I think she's caught the cruise bug now. Lol the meet and greet wasn't scheduled by msc, it just so happened that muster took place during the middle of one of the MAS event. Yes! Sail away during dinner is crazy. Nevwr seen that before. PJ gets everybody pumped up. Lol it wad bad. Continuous coughing non stop. Almost started to get up and leave. The glow party was ok.... the DJ could have been better. Too much techno for me. Yea that hall was dope. It turnes all kinds of different colors.

Seems to be similar yet different on both the msc cruises we've been on. We had a staggered release on another msc ship. On this 1, they just turned everyone loose.

Haha not at all. We saved the heavy drinks for the night time festivities Lol. PJ is a mama's boy to the core! Muster was very draining. I hate it. And our boy is always gonna cut up on the dance floor. Yes coughing just nasty. I wanted to turn around and say something so bad.

With mustard drill, understand why they do it that way... gives you real-life experience what it would be like if they ordered evacuation. There's no pick and choose between decks if the boat is sinking

Based on your muster experience would you recommend that I simply wait in my room i.e. 30min after the call to assemble to attempt to avoid this Chaos???

I wouldn't say 30 minutes. I would say maybe around 15 things should be more smooth and most people are returning to their preferred activities.
