I have enjoyed both of your videos in this series. 😊 I love that you took this cruise to become familiar with the ship before your group cruise. As a content creator and travel agent myself, I really enjoyed seeing that you did that. We will be sailing on the Seashore in February, and it will be our first MSC cruise. Thanks for sharing that! yes, when I was on celebrity cruise I used my Chime Card. This April I’m on MSC so I will do the same. or either my CashApp card

Question for you. We are leaving on our 1st cruise this weekend and was wondering when you can make reservations for dining? We have also prepaid for couple massage and wondered when we could make reservations for that? Thanks for any info you can provide.

Hello. All reservations are made onboard. For dinner in the main dining room you should be able to see your time on your booking confirmation/ no need to make reservations. But if you are adding on specialty dining, as soon as you get on the ship go directly to the kiosk or deck where they are making specialty dining reservations (a crew member can tell you where it’s located). Don’t wait to do this otherwise some will sell out. And same for the spa. Go there to make your reservations. This is the one thing I don’t like about MSC. They are a bit old school in this regard. Have a great cruise.

I’m going on my very first cruise for my 55 bday , on MSC Seashore 4/7-4/14 . My friend had to cancel so I’m going to be all alone 😩Thanks to you videos I won’t be a scared or overwhelmed newbie !! Do you have a vid that tells what to / not to take that’s not obvious ?? Love your vids 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

I like to take a battery operated tea light to leave in the bathroom or night stand. I just got off this ship on Thursday. We called guest services right away to ask for wash cloths and took large bottles of water from the buffet and any left over water from dinner because we didn't get water bottles in our room. Our room was immaculate.

Thank you so much for all you information and knowledge. I loved your videos. One more question if you don’t mind; this is our first cruise so I have questions lol when getting off the ship for instance in the Dominican Republic, or Bahamas I’m assuming we would need to carry our passport but if we are going to the beach where would you recommend for us to leave our things?

No problem. Actually you don’t need to carry your passport. You will just need your ships card and ID. Leave your passport in the safe. I usually just keep a pic of mine on my phone. You won’t need it at all while on the islands. But some beaches have lockers for rent. I wouldn’t recommend carrying anything valuable while at the beach

Always carry your passport. I was given a bit of a hassel when I forgot to bring mine with me when I was retuning to the ship in USVI. I'm a US citizen and was in St Thomas, USVI. Didnt' have that problem in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Fortunately My sister was with me and vouched that we were on the same ship. Otherwise she may have had to go to our cabin and return with my passport.

Hello , we’ll be out with you on the 4th of July sailing , hope to run into you . My question is , how did that $100 dollars load up in the kiosk work out ? I plan on using my cash app card instead of credit card and loading up as little $$$ as possible. Tia , Johnny

Hey Johnny! We will see you onboard. It worked out just fine for me. I definitely prefer that over adding our credit or debit card- especially with the $250 hold. Hopefully it still works like that. I see they’ve now added a credit card section to the online check in. So we shall see

Right! And usually I don’t ask for my food to be made over, but he was adamant that they were going to give me another steak. It was delicious… the Mac and cheese not so much.

Thanks. So with wifi you can text on iPhones. Not sure about other phones. But you can use WhatsApp for internet calls and messaging as well or even messenger or FaceTime. Depending on your phone you just won’t be able to make regular calls. It will have to be texts, whats app, FaceTime, or messenger video.

No. I just got off this ship on Thursday. And, we're having an uncommonly wet winter in Florida so the upper deck was rainy or wet most nights.

No you can’t. Cruise ships are cashless. You can add cash to one of the kiosks and it will go on your account.

You’ll be gold with MSC. That is the second highest tier. You’ll get a few perks.

Are gratuities included or do we have to pay at the end of the cruise? Another question I have do we need to take our birth certificate or is our passport enough?

No gratuities aren’t included. You can either prepay when you book your cruise or pay them onboard. They will automatically charge your card on file during the cruise. Gratuities currently are $7.50 per kid per day and $14.50 per adult day. If you have a valid passport that doesn’t expire for at least 6 months beyond your return date, you are fine/ no birth certificate needed. If you don’t have a passport then as long as you are a US citizen and the cruise start and ends at the same US port, you can just use birth certificate and valid ID.

I receive a free thermal spa pass for being diamond status. You can add on spa treatments and thermal pass online before the cruise. They don’t run specials in the spa on day 1 of the cruise. Nice deals for massages

Yes that can be done on the larger machines. At one point they would only allow the $250 credit card/debit card deposit so I’m glad they are now allowing cash and deposits less than $250

MSC does not know how to use seasonings. They put that tasteless sauce on everything My wife actually LOST weight on MSC because there was nothing edible for the entire week.
