Helpful information when booking a MSC Shuttle from the Hamburg Germany (HAM) airport to the Kiel Germany Cruise port. This was our experience when cruising on the new MSC Euribia in June.
We are not affiliated with MSC and always check with your agent for possible changes.
We were on the inaugural cruise out of Kiel Germany and we wanted to share this wonderful ship service with you!

MSC also operates a shuttle from the Kiel main train station (Kiel Hbf) to the cruise terminal for those arriving in Kiel via train.

When we took the shuttle in June there was only one shuttle from the airport to the port in Kiel. I would check with MSC to be sure. I asked about drones and was told that they were strictly prohibited, even if stored until you go ashore in a port. They even have pictures of this during disembarkation. If one is brought and found it will be confiscated until the end of the cruise. I wish they were allowed, but almost every cruiseline prohibits them. I saw a lot of people's power extensions being taken at the embarkation and were returned at the end of the cruise.

Hola, tendrás que llevar tú mismo tu equipaje desde el autobús hasta la zona de embarque del puerto de cruceros. Desde allí, recogerán tu equipaje facturado y lo colocarán en tu camarote.

I do not believe so, but check with MSC as things may have changed since last year.

MSC does not provide service from the station. I would call MSC and ask for transport options as an add-on to your trip. Good Luck.

Two questions: is there more than one shuttle for going/returning to/from Kiel? What about dron and camera transportation with MSC? I have all the permissions in the destination county, but I read msc is really strict with this. I don’t want problems, and I want to fly only in allowed places.

I believe there is only on shuttle going and coming from the airport to the MSC Kiel port. Check with MSC on the times. Ours was around 10am. I dont know of any cruise lines that allow drones. I asked the same question you asked to want to only use it in the ports. They will confiscate your drone and return it at the end of the cruise if found. There are even signs on the Msc embarkation door that have a. picture of no drones along with other things.

On MSC (Canada) site the transfer from Hamburg Airport to Kiel is not available on the excursions list. I gave them a call but they are helpless. Does anyone know where to purchase them? Going by train is not an option for us as it will be peak season and for sure trains will be packed. For us it will be either MSC transfer or private transfer. Thanks

I can try to call the inside TA line for you if you like. I just need your booking number. You can email it to thankfuljournesoneline@gmail.com. We had to call them for our arrangments and it was added to our booking by MSC.

We reserved our shuttle by calling MSC Cruises. USA (877) 665-4655 - UK 0203 426 3010. Provide your booking number and ask them to add the shuttle service. Hope this helps. :)

Our Marriott hotel was close to HAM airport and offered a shuttle to the airport. We then took the MSC shuttle from the Hamburg airport to the Kiel port.
