There are three level of students(after msc): Level 1= CSIR net + gate + phd , level 2 : Preparing for Any govt. exam / looking for jobs in companies (pharma/CRO), level 3 : B. ed + teaching in schools ; level 4 : Only LS (in net) + lecturer {This is the most unstable job, so it is at last priority according to me}

Very correctly said.... students get to know the truth after MSc Even I also realised that instead of preparing this much for IIT JAM I should have prepared for SSC CGL or some other govt jobs related to chemistry. This was the reason I dropped the idea of CSIR NET / GATE I completed my Masters from NITK and got placed for Gland Pharma and offer we got was just 22k/month due to which I rejected the offer and now currently making my career in teaching field.

Sorry to say sir but IITs mein bahut se ab toh groups hai jo non engineering students ke placements ki preparation krvate hai. IIT Guhawati ka data uttha ke dekh liiye placements ka khud apko idea lg jyega reality kya h kya nhi.

Sir, truth to be told aaj kal har wo govt job me competition ho gaya hei. har jagah miniscule vacancy. Islie kuch bhi prepare karo... bas jyada ummeed mat rakho... and agar apna 100% dene ke bad bhi na ho paye... then move to private ones

I was preparing for csir net but now I feel that I had wasted my 4 years in this . Now, I am not in any doubt. Thank you sir. Aur fact is that in iits during msc ap ko bhout difficult hoga net k tayari krna . B'coz hamay bhout zyda lab main involve rakhte hain.. muje lagta hai normal uni. Se Net ki tyari best rahe gi aur b exam ki tyari kr skta hai banda . Personal experience hai bahi

Bsc k baad seedha hi FULL TIME Gov exams ki tayyari kar sakte h na why even waste bees tees hazar rupay msc k fees k plus pass to hona padega msc me kahi se karo then why no just straightaway go for gov exams after bsc itself, aysi vesi uni me msc krni hi kyu h? Is that necessary? I'm just asking because u never said ki msc karo hi mat if u want a job.
