Happy to see this - on Virtuosa this Fri; the buffet looks very appetising, like in the beautiful Turkish hotels I loved before getting sick to death of flying ! Thank you.
Lizzy, who needs the MDR when your ship has a grand buffet? I always go to the latter on any cruise and almost never bother the former except afternoon tea like P&O does. Travel Blog’s Jamie sailed to Bruges on Virtuosa lately and as a mini-cruiser, I’ve found she does minis occasionally. But I’m now used to smaller ships like Ambassador’s or Olsen’s I was on my last 2 cruises and am nervous about big fat vessels. June
We were on p&o brittania easter around the iberian coast which was fantastic and We're on virtuosa on the 27th august with our 2 children, to the norwegian fjords then bk again on 23rd october for 12 nights to canary Islands and portugal. Looks amazing
on the Virtuosa on the 19th November, this buffet looks amazing they are going to have to roll me off that ship with the food and the full drinks package I hate to think what I am going to look like after the cruise.
We went on the Northern Europe cruise at Christmas and were very disappointed in the food even in the restaurant ( Blue Danube) the food there was no where near as good as food on the other cruises and we get better from our local favourite restaurant and don't start me on the buffet but we ate there for most of the cruise rather than wait far to long to get our main meal ( An hour one evening ) and we didn't even have a starter as there was nothing we fancied ( frogs and snails not being to our taste) I could say a lot more but haven't got the time to go into it yet again , I am awaiting a reply to our complaints.
