oh my what a lot to do. looks amazing.... how much did you pay per person for a balcony cabin. ? we live so close to Southampton, so traveling is cheap. another informative vlog. and professionally done cheers therese !
@@OneCouplesAdventure Omg... that's really cheap. Hence paying for the game package and booking a show prior to boarding. We now to date are on the iona in 6 weeks. No excursions are booked so intend to just chill and enjoy the views. We have already had our big holiday this year in florida. .. Do you have any other cruises or holidays in mind or booked ? Thanks for your help 👍
This was so fun you guys! While you were up in the harnesses doing those walks my palms were sweating🤣 I love Stacy "Look at me, I'm so brave!" Yeah go on girl!!👏❤
That walk is my kind of rebel thing 🤣 I just love that kind of stuff, I'm only 59, who cares? I don't! I was in a place in Melton Mowbray with the family, there was this high wall to jump/slide kind of thing, kids everywhere and yes! you've guessed, Moi! an over 50 crazy dude jumping, with big cheers from the kids, "you to old for that!" my answer, "you ain't seen nothing yet!".
We go on this ship a few weeks and being fellow Stokies always check every day for your new videos. We literally sit down to watch them at night after putting the kids bed 😂 This is prime Saturday night viewing!
I've been on Virtuosa twice and still haven't made it onto the ropes course - I think your video's reassured me that I wouldn't do well up there...! Haha
So much more to do than shuffle board, Kev and Stacey! That's what I think of on a cruise ship. Bowling? I thought the same thing as you, when you mention a rocking ship. We would have missed the spare too, even on solid ground! We enjoyed watching you walk along the rope bridge but sure wouldn't be doing it. Lot's of activities. Almost like an amusement park on the sea! Thanks so much for bringing us along.
Haha thanks so much Dave and Kathy, and we think you'd do great on the rope bridge 😋. There was certainly lots to do on this ship , you would struggle to say you were bored. We love doing different activities though , thanks so much for watching as always ❤️
We were on the Zombie Coaster in Niagara Falls Ontario 2 weeks ago. It was a blast. One of the kids was terrified and forgot thst she only needed to take off her glasses. Poor kid.
Loving the content guys! Cruise virgin here and just from watching the videos I've booked 2! MSC virtuosa for Sept 2023 and Royal Caribbean for Feb 2024. I want to get a go pro and your footage is great. What one do you have and accessories to film? Keep up the good work!❤
Thanks so much Chere and yes think there was but just check your app when onboard the ship or your daily planner sheet and it will tell you on there. Might be different to when we went 😁
Great fun guys. Just recently started watching your vlogs. Love em. I’ve never been in a cruise before. I’m 47. Can u feel the ship rock from side to side?
Hi and we have only ever had to take a sea sickness Tablet once when the weather was abit rough but then we felt OK. Other than that we have barely felt the ships move, not in a way that that it would bother us anyway 😁
Another cracking video very informative thank you guys. Is there a weight limit on the rope course? Is the F1 car very wide ie can a large ( fat git ) get in it to have a go? Ps I loved the chipmunk voice on 21 minutes 😂
Thanks. I class my self as a fat git 🤣 and i fit in it, it is a tight squeeze and make sure you either have a belt on or tighten your shorts because when you're getting out your shorts will slip down. As for the rope course i am not sure about a limit, the harness they put on me had plenty of room before tightening.
Thanks for sharing. I've been following your journey as were on Virtuosa on 3rd September. The pool looks very quiet, even for a sea day. Do you know if that's adults only for the inside pool? We are bringing a toddler with us who is a real water baby.
Hi thanks for watching and yeah pretty sure kids could go in the indoor pool and it was after dinner we filmed that bit so it was quiet but to be honest it was all week but the ship was way under capacity. Hope you have a great time it's such a fun ship
you really do make your vlogs an easy watch - very informative and loads of fun too. I am unsure to get one or two fun passes, so will have. thing, there will be four adults ( but of course, im blind, so a lot of the things will be no use to me - although I will have a go at bowling haha - and one child..as always thanks for a fab vlog...Terry
Hi thanks and yes they were but check the magazine they leave in your cabin as the opening times vary each day depending if the ship is in a port or not
Hey! Amazing videos we go in 11days! What's the situation with the drinks packages? We don't drink and have kids, is it worth it? How readily available are hot drinks and soft drinks through the day and how far away from the pool etc? Please tell us as much as possible as it's so expensive and worried we wouldn't have needed to do it xxxxx thanks guys
Hi, it never works out for us to have a drinks package but the best thing to do is try to Google an updated menu and work out how much you think you will drink between you all. And work it out versus the cost of the drinks package. Think a coke was about £3 but that might of changed as it's over 18 months since we went on 👍
Hi both, thanks for the amazing video and I can’t wait to get onboard in the next couple of weeks. I brought a fun pack already and seeing you guys in action, I think I may need another one for my family of 4. Quick question, did you guys buy an photo packages and wondering if there are many photo opportunities that the cruise will take photos? Thanks again!
I would be tempted to get another if there's 4 of you and you want to do it all a couple of times. We didn't get a photo pass but there are people taking photos everywhere on the ship. Not sure how much a pass is but the photo hub is on deck 6 by the atrium they have touch screens where you can look at all the photos and pick the ones you want
We have sailed on many MSC Ships but not this type, great to show the different areas 😊 gives ourselves a great insight to this AMAZING ship 🚢 👍🏼 Looks like you had a blast (especially for what you paid guys) 🎉🎉
Hi thank you and yes no charge for the slides. You just have to register and receive a wristband to be able to ride them. Which means you literally sign a piece of paper lol.
I really enjoy watching your videos. Your reactions to your various experiences are a pure joy to watch. Thank you for the smiles and the chuckles. Safe travels!
Hi. Great videos of the MSC virtuosa. Do you need to pre-book the high ropes. Also do you just go up.to the pool and waterslides in your swimwear or are the changing up by them. We booked today to go.in Feb. Thanks
Hi you don't have to prebook the rope bride but may have to wait if too many people are on though we never had to do this. And best to go up to the slides in your swimwear as there didn't seem to be any changing rooms up there
Hi not any signs about with any restrictions but you have to sign up and register your details to do the activities so just ask them then they were very friendly and helpful. We did see a few kids about 11/12 on there
Thanks for the videos. We are on the Virtuosa this Saturday and your posts have kept us going until then. I am interested in going on the high ropes but I am blind. Do you think they would be safe for me, r would the staff even let me try? Look forward to your next pist
Hi Jonathan thanks so much and to be honest we aren't really sure. The staff working on there were amazing and very friendly so just ask them when you go. We hope you have an amazing time it's a beautiful ship
Great content guys. Loving the cruise stuff. We are on this ship in two weeks. The extra shows you pay for on the website, do they clash with missing the evening shows in the main theatre? We can't seem to log on to the MSc app to see any details and you mentioned you watched the extra paid show! Thanks and keep up the great videos.
Thanks Darren and yes think we had to miss one of the shows to watch the paid one but it was definitely worth it in our opinion as the paid for show was really good. So for one night , 2 at most if you watch both the paid for shows then yeah it's definitely worth doing, hope you have a great time the ship is amazing 😁
You can both use one. But if you think you are going to do things multiple times then you might be better getting one each as it will save you loads of money. The price sheet is in the video. Pause it and work it out roughly how much you think you might need
Can't remember lol think it might be but depends on where the ship is at the time and weather wise, you'd hope going to the Norwegian Fjords they would turn it on 🤣
