MSFS 2020 vs X-Plane 12 vs Real Life! Takeoff and Climb out from the Berlin 

How can I fix the texture supersampling in the X-Plane?

MSFS looking awesome honestly.

Now the we know how both visual simulators look compared to real life, what about a comparison of flight simulators?

Looking at this makes me think that nowadays with ray tracing being a hot thing, the next thing should be particle and vapor simulation. When paying attention to these side by side, what really broke the immersion for me were the clouds and in Microsoft Flight Sim you can even notice how several clouds are just these square blobs side by side and that's really jarring, although I thought Microsoft Flight Sim looked the best otherwise. It's just that there's no actual transition of cloud vapor density picking up as you escend in altitude in these games (I'm not sure if my words make sense, but I tried), which is an effect you would notice when sitting on the passenger side of a plane as the plane starts getting into clouds. Also I noticed that Microsoft Flight Sim's wings were a bit too rigid, whereas X-Plane's flexed rather beautifully, maybe just a tiny bit too much, but not enough to start looking unreal.

please show the graphic setting from MFS20 & XP12. Your XP12 look so blurry, seem wrong with the setting.

What do you like about xplane’s wing flex? They looked like they were about to snap off on the takeoff roll and pitch. MSFS looks the most realistic by far.

I went from P3D to MSFS2020 and although flight models in XP tend to be a bit better; overall MSFS2020 wins it big time for me especially since I only fly VR. Besides that, I use DCS. My guess is that XP will lose the 'game' rapidly.

XP12 would be a good simulator in 2010

Really cool video! From cockpit view x plane’s lightning is more brighter with better physics which makes you feel like you’re flying IRL. MSFS’s visuals is like flying in a dream XD

While it wasn't too hard to work out, in future please either label the three at the start, or position them consistent with the order listed in the video title.

You can never beat the real thing but MSFS looks so much better than XPlane - ground textures, trees, roads, buildings are all vastly superior. I did like the wing-flex on the XPlane as it took off; but I think MSFS is catching up - interesting to see how the flight dynamics change in MSFS 2024. Great video!

Your xplane comments. 1,2, and 3. I have no idea about whats going with your sim everything does seem so blury. Probably a vram thing. 4. Your vegetation qualities to low 5. That probaly because the time is set diffrent. 6. Autoortho will fix all that.(I recommend turning down the quility tho) 7. With orthos from any source will make it look 10 times better. Conclusion. Somthing up with your sim. Run the xplane installer it should check every file to make sure its normal. Install the zibo, X-world(95% of xplane users have it so its fair), and autoortho. Also turn down your anti-aniliesing because it takes a HUUUGE chunk of your GPU that could be used for rendering building, tree, and textures.

My xplane 12 looks like 100 times better than you have here. I dont know what you are doing wrong but to me on my computer xplane 12 looks on par or better than MSFS. I have got autoortho installed though.
