MSFS F-20A Hammerhead demo - free community jet download link below

Last year I implemented a conceptual jet me and an air force friend ( Thibaut ) designed to solve a theoretical problem in future air dominance economics, I think it's one of the harder things I've done by myself in a while and I'm not really done when it comes to the interior, lots of buttons and gauges that aren't working and the glass cockpit doesn't have the functional depth I was dreaming about.
Anyway, since Microsoft announced they're going to update to MSFS 2024, I simply don't have the time to finish the Hammerhead in the way I want. So I'm releasing what I have now for free so people can at least have some fun with the jet and then I'll probably transition to making an updated Hammerhead for MSFS 2024 once that releases :)
You can find the download link in this article:
witus.dk/2023/...
To install a community jet in MSFS you need to go to your Users/ your name /AppData/Roaming/Microsoft Flight Simulator/Packages/Community folder and drop the "witus-f-20a-hammerhead" folder from the drive link there. When you load of MSFS next time it should be selectable in your hangar :)
Note: This only works for PC users, I don't think it can be played via Xbox. Why didn't I release it on the MSFS Marketplace? Well it sorta has weapons which isn't allowed there - also - it isn't finished! - I think it's a fun little hotrod of a jet as it is now, the cockpit needs an overhaul, but I don't have the time currently, enjoy it as it is and I'll return with a better model next year :)
The jet is a thought experiment between me and Lt. Col. Thibaut from the Royal Danish Air Force - a super small jet with some stealth capabilities ( the downloadable jet here is in "beast mode" so it's very un-stealthy currently ) I wrote a post about it last your, if you're interested in the details you can investigate it here: witus.dk/2022/...
A few tips and tricks:
The jet will shut down the engine if you pull the power all the way back ( past the idle stop ) - that's realistic - but annoying ;)
You can start the engine by pressing CTRL and E - even in flight ( if you accidentally shut it down ), - you don't need to turn on the battery, APU and ignition in the cockpit, they're just there for show ( the jet is basically a revamp of the F/A-18, but I couldn't get the start up to work properly since the Hammerhead is a 1 engine bird, but! CTRL and E works like a charm, even though it's cheating a bit ).
There's a lot of vibration around 800 knots / 1482 kph / 921 mph and nosewheel steering is a little wonky, if you turn it off - it stays off :S - so rather have it and be careful on the pedals, then not have it..
I hope you have a lot of fun with it, it's a been a challenging process for me and I wouldn't have made it this far without the many contributors to the MSFS modding community, I would particularly like to thank Jonx for the tutorials and guides he's made for everyone, thanks man!

Nunca vi nada similar ni en conceptos de Ninguna Empresa de Defensa como Lockheed SkunkWorks o Phantom Works de Boeing o de Northrop Grumman
