Hi 83 crew, Pilot here! Today we review and preview the G39 Griffen by my good buddy Deimos Inc. He is a developer who has came a long way and continues to improve with each plane he releases. He is quick to fix issues and stays active in the community so of course I couldn't miss out on his G39 Griffen. Lets take her up for a spin and see what shes about! pretty sure screen blacking out is related to running out of memory which would be why AP reset when they reinitialised. Frame rate will also struggle if memory is full of elements to display, but my understanding is that lack of memory/optimisation is more likely the cause.

It’s almost a 50/50 each flight. Sometimes i automatically get CTD on the start up

Was looking for another fighter jet to fly around. This one was just on marketplace for 50% off so after watching a couple of reviews decided to pull the trigger. Glad I did. Very fun plane to fly. Super agile, and have to really watch pulling heavy g's to avoid GLOC. There was an update and the excessive pull up on take off has been fixed. Still have the black avionics screens (and altitude reading in 3rd person view freezes) every so often. Plane can be a challenge to land they key is to be smooth and not rush a short approach. Cannot figure out how to use the speed brakes (I am on XBOX Series X). Solid plane that just needs a couple more tweaks to fix the black screens issue.

Having an issue with reduced maneuverability. Sometimes it handles like the f16 with FLCS on but then sometimes it flies like an f16 with FLCS off but on steroids. Thoughts?

@@Pilot0083 yes it's hit or miss everytime I spawn in. FLCS switch seems to do nothing. On Xbox series S.

TOP G39 GRIFFEN, excellent, a shame it doesn't work in NAV mode, to plan flights, the only flaw, everything else is great, this G39. TOP.

Yes I got the same black screen on mine with add on airports and the g39 have reverse thrusts 🤙🏻 (Xbox)

I’ve been having that with the tbm and airbus either the screens are not on or they go off mid flight

I don’t like this product. It looks good, but lacks some features. Its hard to take off and land with autotrim and hard doing a smooth landing like in the F-16. Most often it goes straight up after take off och the rudders locks. I also have some problems with the autopilot, not always working.
