Thinking about repasting, do you think you could post a tutorial on how to repaste the cyborg? Also thinking about using Honeywell PTM 7950 instead of normal paste. And then could you do a tutorial on how to reboot the laptop after you’ve installed a new SSD card? Cuz I’ve hear issues of ppl having to reinstall stuff etc

For the RAM I've a major problem in removing the cover, it seems glued to the box. Theres any kind of clip to press before to pull?

I’m also going to upgrade to 32 GB Ram and 1-2TB of SSD. I’m just worried if upgrading the SSD will mess with anything so if you could provide a tutorial on upgrading the SSD and rebooting the computer back to how it was normally I would really appreciate it. Keep up the great vids!

There is a way to turn on the laptop by bypassed the motherboard?, I upgrade the ram of my computer and after use it the for 8 hours the laptop turn off and never turn on again, when you plug the laptop if will chow the light aa charging and if you tey to turn on the power button will flash one time but the laptop will not turn on again, The repair guys said that maybe is the keyboard damaged but they don't know how to turn on the laptop without the power button. Just for clarification I remove the new ram and do not turn on.

I guess MSI removed second ssd slot in Cyborg series for many reasons, 1. Price, If MSI Cyborg used second ssd slot the cost would be more expensive. 2. Marketing Purpose, MSI Cyborg laptop seemingly for those who want to buy gaming laptop but affordable for gamer that don't require higher specs.

No, not at all. Raw storage capacity doesn't impact. But if you install a lot of programs (which runs all the time), then it can. :D

The screwhole is there, but if you look closely the motherboard is lack of the connector. Next to the Wifi module there is the place for the NVMe slot marks. (but the connector itself is not present) @14:06

I am struggling to get the back part (Where the heat vent is) open, any tips? My one is extra tight and won't budge easily, I bought 64GB for it, but getting the back panel opened is proving difficult.

It is usually part of the screwdriver toolkit(s) I use. But simple google search "phone opening guitar pick" and there are tons of shops selling just these.

Yeah feels solid after three months or longer but never saw any video on it like there not allowed r something i dont know.

I bought one just after Xmas 2023. Loving it, absoultey no issue with build quality or hinge. Feels like MSI has turned the corner with their new lineup - Cyborg for 2024 looks even better with 24-zone RGB and better screen.

13:00 this is right, you don't want the PCH to be thermally connected with the copper cause it's cooler than the CPU even without dissipation

Got a question about upgrading SSD, i got 500 GM SSD as is, but i plan on getting ether a 2 or 4TB SSD instead, the question is, is there room for a heat sink, what is the max height for the SSD and heat sink together.

Im about to do it So i have an external hard drive i just copy and paste the all the files on my laptop to the external hard drive then replace my rubbish 500gb with a 2tb hard drive then paste all files back onto laptop from external hard drive I havent done it yet but thats what im thinking

Actually based on what I read, that part (PCH) better leave without thermal paste, as this is not a heat generating part. So it makes it worse to apply paste over it, cause the temperature generated by the right side (SOC) can transfer over here as well.
