Careful with the VRMs / Memory, its not paste what it came with, was thermal puddy, its much thicker than thermal paste, if you want to do it right get some UPSIREN U6 PRO Thermal Putty and place it on the vrms / vga memory, use thermal paste on the GPU n CPU.
Thanks for the video. Those who are watching this. If you are having over heating issues instead of just repasting take a part your fans. I had so much dust and hair in the exhaust ports that I could barely play games. CPU was hitting 90c now its 71c after the cleaning.
Thank you for the video, careful with battery connector next time - metal tools are risky to use for it. Repasted my GE76, cpu temp dropped under the full load 95C to 86C, previously it was throttled around 55W, now able to drain 75W continuously. Ive used thermalight TFX paste and decided to not change stock VRM putty. GPU temp also dropped by 10C under full load.
I've had problems with GPU temps even after a fresh repaste, but after cleaning the fan exhaust from the clogged dust my temps are back in a safe range! Thanks big boss :D
Note: If you also were replacing hinges and had removed screen cover / hinges the bottom cover rear corner screws thread into the bottom hinge assembly post :)
Man i wish someone could just make a video on the ge76 explaining wtf is what, because i know for a fact that you also gotta replace the thermal puddy on the ram and not just the cpu
