the problems in laptops in my experience is not gpu temps, is the cpu :/. With the time dust enter in the fans and temps increase a lot. Open it its no a good idea, you can lost warranty.
I own this laptop and I don't really recommend it to anyone because of its build quality. The first few months were perfectly fine but after the 4th month parts start to break if its used a lot. The wifi card in it has some problems as well, I'll be playing a game online with friends and will get booted from my internet and when I try to reconnect it says I have no internet sources even though everyone else in my house does. I would highly recommend finding a different gaming laptop if you are thinking about buying it.
Bo2 does that sometimes for me too. Not sure if its a driver issue but usually changing it to either fullscreen or fullscreen borderless fixes the issue. Obviously performance should be way better
maybe its the temperature . when the temperature goes too high the gpu tries to lower the temperature by reducing the clock speed of the gpu (under volting) that is why the fps is drooping . At least thats what i think . i think lifting the laptop up using some books or cooling pad for more ventilation should solve the problem . And sorry if im wrong
@@aravinda2120 no thats not the issue. The temperature wasn't so high to where the fps would fluctuate so much. Every other game worked fine so its definitely a problem with bo2 specifically. And thats not what undervolting is btw. What you described was thermal throttling. Undervolting is where voltage to the cpu/gpu is reduced
@@dr.joka-norskgamingnorskvl3306 no you dont need to do that on this laptop. It has a 3060. My 2060 laptop gets over 200fps and this laptop runs far heavier games without problems so its a problem with bo2 specifically.
genuinely love msi laptops already played red dead and cyberpunk on one of them and everything runned very good, not as most people would suspect (of course it's not the same as a real gaming pc, but for someone with low budget like me who still wants to experience new games, it's really worth it)
@@ahmedalrawi5939 if you can only afford 800$, i would reccomended to buy Idepadgaming 3 with same spec but lower price. (Minus screen, it got 15.6") If you have $1000, there's better available like Katana w/ 3050-3050TI or Nitro 5 with same GPU. Both have i5-11400H and same 512GB SSD, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and 15.6". Relaxing here really have a very good deal with its Katana GF66. 1100$ usually only yot 3050TI and its plain with nothing paired up. But ma guy got gaming gear and merchandise. It should be 1200-1300 in normal market.
My ass lol . I agree that ryzen might have better cooling this year but . It's nowhere near intel 12th gen performance. You can search for the i5 12th gen vs ryzen 7 6800(i am not sure about this name tbh , but i mean latest gen ryzen 7) , Intel 12th gen processors just beat everything in terms of performance***
@@piedepew when did I ever say ryzen was better than Intel , battery life and temps and power efficiency are the most important things in any laptop , I will take a few dip in fps over bad thermals , insane power draw and laughable battery life any day
@TheRelaxingEnd : You should also use a cooling pad when gaming with a notebook or put the notebook a bit higher at the back so that more cool air can be drawn. But I'd rather recommend a cooling pad.
@@fatahillah6397+ Get the cheapest decent one. I got one non-branded one for 10€. It has two fans which work well. The purpose of the cooling pad is to improve airflow inside the laptop. For example my ssd runs a lot hotter without the cooling pad on.
I miss your black ops zombies gameplays... I hope when I get back to that channel a year later you'll share some zombies gameplays as like good old days. See you next year 🖤
What's interesting is despite it being obviously a budget gaming laptop, it seems like they did everything they could to make the recipient feel as though they were getting their moneys worth.
The low fps is a bug in the most MSI laptops, try disconect the ac adapter then plug back again, this is the solution thath work for me on my MSI GF 65 rtx 3060 75w
you are really great and we love u so much. This channel is the best on youtube. you make me laugh so much when you say also comes with laptop or a phone. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
For the people who will be confused and already are. Relaxing's blade is far to short to be a katana, it's instead called a Wakisashi, which is literally a short katana. I know it might not be that big of a deal but we can atleast try to call it the right thing
Me saying to my mom i need this pc to study and showing Relaxing's video, see he ticked for school and education and cutting off the part where he is testing games. 😏😝🤣
I'd love to game on this laptop... It legitimately has each & every sort of performance i am ever gonna need... As a casual gamer... I'd love to own this one
Mr Petit panier, It's not like everyone was born in a rich family, $1100 is really expensive after turning into my country's currency, not many parents will be willing to buy their kids a $1000++ device at my place Even if casual gamers like us can manage to save up some money from our job, we wouldn't decide to buy it as soon as we have enough money, any normal person wouldn't burn through their whole bank account just to buy a gaming device, so i bet u must be one of those kids that ur rich parents keep buying expensive stuff for u
@@ChibiNaruto it's bad because for the price, there are other laptops which are widely better such as the popular lenovo legion 5 (which is cheaper btw) and some asus like the a15. its like paying the price of a bentley and get a civic
That stuttering you faced during the game was because of gpu temperature. You need to use cooler booster for heavy games. It doesn't go automatically at max speed of fan. I don't know why.
@@KennethUmeozulu there is, you can use gaming mode, that is best if it works, since it belongs to gaming, there will always be glitches. If you face the same problem, I can give you a solution.
@@lifeofholy short answer, make sure you use cooler booster while playing games. It'll be fixed after format. There are some other tricks, for that I'll send a video.
Not an issur for my Nitro 5 apparently. It still run smooth perfectly like just newly bought. And its already 7 months since i bought it. (Gonna try repaste the thermal since its already 7 months)
Black Ops II might have defaulted to the intel UHD integrated graphics. Otherwise I would not know how to explain that low framerate and frame consistency.
I think msi laptops are a hit or miss. My first one was great but the current one I have it's okay but a lot of adjusting with the graphics card to help with under performance/heat/fps issues. Though models/specs matter even a high end msi can have those issues. I had them with Far Cry 6, was getting too hot (hitting between 95-97) and had fps issues.
@@AarcanesGaming build quality after couple of months is ok. The main issue is thermals. Laptop dosn't have any overheating safety measures and can easily everheat during normal gameplay so You have to be careful about that. Good cooling pad is a must. Other than that ok. For now at least. Cheers.
Performance fro price is amazing... The reason I wouldn't recommend this model is build quality... Msi for the longest has had problems with the hinges on there laptops... On the newer model starting around 2020 or so they completely redesigned the hinge and most ( but not all problems have been fixed or at least reduced significantly) but if you look at Msi budget models like the GL/GF series they are still using the cheaper more prone to break hinges... And anyways a GP66 would only cost you like 100-200$ more....with an i7...
Well mine is Dell G15 and I can say sometimes it can be frustrating to play with but I look around on RU-vid and still can manage to play some games with it on my channel like Elden Ring for the moment! Nice video!!!!
In australia the damn thing costs like $2000 or $1500 and you could get something like that for a more cheaper price like the gigabyte g5 gd or the asus rog strix laptop
My friend has this brand but he had to switch out few things due to heating issues. If this new model has no heating issues then cool if it dose, well you do you. Great videos and have a good night.
@@farukboba_21 I’ve looked it up it’s not for me honestly I liked the lenovo yoga slim 7 pro X with the i7 12700h since I’m not gonna use it for gaming it’s mostly for working and I have a desktop at home
