If we went back to voting in precincts as we used to, I'm willing to bet the results would be fairly dramatic. I suspect the malfeasance with mail in ballots goes deep. I live in Oregon...I think we were the first state to go all-in on mail in ballots as our standard back in 1998. We've of course never had a republican governor since. (Vic Atiyeh served until 1987 as a R governor.) Makes you wonder....there is NO way to audit this process. Once your ballot gets separated from the signed envelope, there is no connection to the voter. How would anyone ever know if malfeasance happens in the voting process? Its not a good feeling not having 100% trust in the democratic process of our republic. We 100% absolutely have to return to the old precinct method. I can handle losing an election as long as I know it's legitimate and indeed the will of the people. In 2020 we certainly didn't feel that way, and we all saw the "abnormalities" with late night stoppages and magically appearing D ballot dumps.....this absolutely needs to be a top agenda item (shoring up the voting integrity process) for every governor in every red state. (SHOULD be in blue states too...be we all know intuitively that integrity initiatives would be opposed by those governors...which tells you everything you need to know .) May God bless America.

I'm a black atheist that's voting for Trump and have a hard time believing I'm the only one that doesn't fit their narrative of who has simple common sense on who's the best candidate.

I really hope that, with the way media is handling our current climate, a law is created to hold media outlets responsible for refusing to report on the news in an unbiased manner and/or reporting false information and withholding information because it doesn't fit their narrative. The news is supposed to be just that, NEWS not opinions. I typically don't watch the news and will read articles simply, so I don't have to hear someone else's opinion. I just want the facts and I will form my own opinion. I am also raising my children to do the same thing. I will be voting for Trump in the Presidential Election, but that doesn't mean that if I thought someone else could do what President Trump is doing that, I wouldn't prefer someone else. I want a president that will stand up for what is best for our country, not what is best for them, their family, or their friends. I want a president that isn't afraid to get rid of the dead weight and isn't afraid to say what needs to be said. I live in an area that is overrun by undocumented immigrants and have to deal with the problems that are caused by them being undocumented. I have nothing against the people, I do have a problem with them living in subpar housing situations (creating health hazards for the people neighboring them), using other people's social security numbers to work (creating all kinds of problems with the IRS and other government services), driving without car insurance and driver's licenses and getting into accidents, overcrowding cities (raising the cost of rent), and fathering children and then abandoning them (without the ability to enforce child support). I have a problem with having zero idea whether or not these immigrants have previous violent criminal histories or a history of SA, or any affiliation with a drug cartel/gang. These are all things that are handled when people enter this country LEAGALLY. I have ZERO problem with people from another country, just those that are coming here and breaking the law. I also believe that applications for immigration should be processed a lot faster than they currently are. I have a friend that came to this country illegally and she abides by our laws. She works for a company that she doesn't need to use someone else's SSN. She lives only with her husband and children, she doesn't drive because she doesn't have a license, she's respectful to other people, has worked hard to become fluent in English, and loves this country. She has been attempting to get her green card for years and it's so expensive and difficult to manage that it still hasn't happened. This is unacceptable. Just because I'm a republican, or because I voted for Trump doesn't make me or anyone else racist. In fact, in my experience, it's quite the opposite. Those of us that want Trump to become president again are the least racist people I've encountered.

I'm a conservative independent. I don't like Trump. (I like Biden even less. A lot less.) I like Trump's policies well enough, but I fear his toxic personality. I would have preferred any of the other Republican candidates to Trump. I have been planning to vote third party or for Kennedy, if Trump is the Republican candidate. I've voted third party often in my 66 years. But I am white, and more importantly, Christian, and my, do these anti-white, anti-Christian comments make me burn. Makes me tempted to vote for Trump just to give a tiny finger to those MSNBC types, not that they'll ever know.

So many thoughts from this excellent piece. First, it's incredible to me that those critics of President Trump conveniently leave out the "illegal" part of the immigration he was talking about. It's incredible that they missed the imagery he used when he said that illegal immigration was poisoning the life blood of this nation, the very fabric of our society. NOT a racist comment. A statement of fact that people who come here from anywhere, legally, are investing in our country, in our commitment to the rule of Law, to the Constitution. People coming here illegally prove that they will ignore the law to benefit themselves. Final point, if those fake newsers are so worried about dictatorship, they should start by looking at the number of executive orders President Trump signed in comparison to the number Biden has signed. Not to mention the weaponization of law from the current DOJ and the spying on American citizens from this administration. The efforts to silence free speech are chilling, and they have the gall to accuse President Trump of wanting to be a dictator. What the dems accuse the GOP of doing, they they themselves are already doing.
