What's telling to me is the selfish perspective to election by many people. The women clap for that senator with his age comment, no need for abortion to be an issue because their to old to be faced with a need. But to those women, what about the other women in this country? Daughters, granddaughters, other family, friends, their rights, their health? When we vote for these candidates their positions have broad effects, than the one issue the politicians find to focus in on to appeal to your vote.
