Honestly, I really hope this is the end of MSP scandals but knowing history, there's bound to be more unfortunately. And yeah, I totally agree with how they completely wiped other scandals under the rug which weren't addressed at all, which makes all of this seem much more suspicious than if they were more honest and upfront about it to their player base.
does anybody else find it weird that they misspelled their own game's name? MovieStaPlanet instead or MovieStarPlanet? it might seem silly but it's really weird to me tbh
I hope MSP will actually work on making their game more secure and I hope they're not just saying it. And I think it would be good of them to perhaps do a q&a on their social media to let their players get their answers to their questions!
Is there a reason why it says Moviestaplanet instead of Moviestarplanet? That’s pretty poor if they managed to spell it wrong in such an important email…I could be overanalysing though.
Honestly all the questions you had regarding to the email is what I want to know too. It looks like the email is mostly just a repeat on what they said on their story
To be honest, I feel like they're just lying to us again, I'm pretty sure other data got leaked, but they just don't want to admit It because people will know how shit MSP's security system Is. I'm sure, that such a thing will happen again, the game will probably get hacked again and who knows, next time the hackers might leak everything from the database. I'm sure that every MSP player has noticed, that MSP doesn't care about the game. Instead of trying to fix it, they decided to make a second game under the name MSP2? I bet MSP will be deleted by the end of 2023 or begin 2024. Alot of players have quit already after MSP got taken down from Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, ect. And even more players have quit now, after this ''attack''.
personally i think it might happen again. coz we all know how msp can't handle these stuff properly but i hope that it's calmed down for now and nobody will get their acc hacked and deleted.
Omg My friend on msp got hacked tonight, they logged in sent all her rares to her account! The hacker is called “limbs” she logged in my friends account twice even after she changed her password! It’s getting scary. Lovely video Roti❤
I wouldn't trust a word that comes out of their mouth, If they've had the email addresses, they've had the user names, So I highly doubt that they wouldn't have been able to get hold of other information including Card deets, Maybe I'm just skeptical. I don't see it being the last, they're big on MSP2 and couldn't really care less about MSP, How else would something covered under the GDPR Regs be leaked so easily? we had the scandal over people being given VIP and MSP taking it away because of an 'error' then, No, their systems are glitching and the easiest way to hide it being their fault is to blame it on someone else. This current issue tho, would suggest that something bigger is going on and they really need to up their security if people's deets were accessed, the delay in their responding to the issue and more specifically to yours and Daisy's issues just says all you need to know. The bit that gets me, is how they were able to bypass having an email sent to Daisy about confirming the deletion and how you didn't get an email regarding the password change. Lil bit sus to be honest, unfortunately it's a nest of vipers that we wont get a look into, we won't be able to see just how much they've screwed up and just how naff their security actually is. They're scuttering around like rats in the dark, trynna hide from the scrutiny of the people that they've wronged. Strangely enough, I can remember on the email that I sent to them after this VIP issue, I warned them that their will be an uproar, that people will end up leaving, either uncanny foresight or I'm doing the usual of believing the worst. I don't know, Just my thoughts on it all
I don’t feel satisfied with this response from msp I didn’t get the fake email but still like msp didn’t even address if the affected emails got linked anywhere or if those affected shpuld change their emails on their msp accounts like why did so many people and highscores get hacked around the same time the email incident happened like msp is not giving us the full story I feel like there’s more then just emails that were affected by this supposed malicious cyber attack like something is not adding up we have so many unanswered questions its even more questionable thar msp didn’t make an actual public statement about what happened they just posted a small statement on there instagram story that not everyone will see and sent an email to only those affected that’s literally the same thing they said on instagram like they are definitely hiding what really happened
Also! I lived with cats as a small child and I was perfectly fine but in recent years I developed an allergy. Antihistamines help me a lot though - unsure if you have already tried those!
