I welcome this interview and want to applaud the host for keeping us informed. Our leaders must account for not putting the people first. The priority of the government is to serve the people and not themselves. Corruption is a crime and those who commit such act must pay for the many lives they impact.
While commendations are expressed to the Hostess, the true commendation is for Philippe Martinez. His investigations and perseverance is admirable. These schemes are par for the course for Caribbean governments, politicians and private sector actors intent on fleecing their respective governments and people. It is sad that to get justice in the Caribbean one has to go to the Federal Courts of the United States
Pee Pee Martinez, out of jail for fraud in France, arrested on visa overstays in the USA, who has "warnings on doing business" released from the Writers Guild, numerous labor law violations in the USA, owes money to studios and freelancers in Louisana, freelancers in the UK, is the speaker of truth? Oi vey!
The CIP Board must be held accountable for the passport scandal. Its impact on our nation is grave. Despite not being directly implicated in the RICO case in the USA, the Prime Minister cannot absolve himself of responsibility. As the head of government, he must ensure the integrity of the Citizenship by Investment Programme. Accountability starts at the top, and any failures in governance reflect on the entire leadership.
Any Prime Minister with integrity would immediately remove Emmanuel and Hilaire from their current position. Establish an independent team to investigate the CIP's operations. This team should include individuals from civil society, legal experts, financial auditors, and regional/international advisors to provide a diverse and independent perspective.
It is obvious that the Citizenship by Investment Board lacks a governance structure to prevent scandals, such as passport mismanagement or fraudulent activities.
When will Pierre demand accountability from persons connected to this scandal. If those people are not forthcoming his administration needs to distance themselves as quick as possible if there's credence to Lisa reporting
It is strange how uwp will talk and embrace certain convicts but shun others. But it goes deeper than this for guy actually said "I don't talk to convicts". I rest my case.
