His comments about black families on megabus at 3 am reminded me of going to college in DC. We’d go into a 1030 movie and it was packed with black families as if it was midafternoon. Was like trying to watch a movie at a loud playground.
Had a similar experience in DC, went to see Four Brothers (2005) in a theater beneath union station next to the food court and we were probably the only white people in there. It was midday and not very full but they were yelling at the screen plenty, giving instructions during gunfights and trying to warn the characters of impending danger

Took the Peter Pan home from nyc to Albany and there were mad hoodlums lighting up joints and drinking 40s, as soon as the bus driver said "hey! You can't smoke in here!" One em goes, "yo shut the fuck up!" And that was the end of that conversation
NY Port Authority station is the absolute gnarliest sesspit I've ever had the displeasure of having to loiter in. I regret to admit I've been there enough times to kinda know my way around the station.

Hey the old Tim Dillon had some classics along similar lines. If you can find the episode from his original podcast called Life In The Bloodbox give it a listen. Has some great stories about the characters who inhabited this piece of shit bar he used to get hammered at.
