Sang this at the Washington State Music Educators Association All-State Choir in the Fall of 1990. Had the distinction of having the lowest Bass voice when we would do warm up exercises. Could/can sing down to D1 before my voice switches to 'fry'. Tearing up a bit here from the memories.

Normaly this can end in a undefined mush but this??........ This was simply exquisite. The best by far of any currently on utube .... who ever the chior master was ..kudos sir kudos to you

This is actually traditionally a male-sung piece - this is the fist where I've heard female voices making up the majority. Have a listen to this version: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aEwcBmttHvM.html which is quite different but more traditional
