You know one could say you were at as much fault as she was. That was some pretty "spirited" riding there. I know speed is fun in both cars and bikes, but to push blame when you are also in the wrong, not cool.
@@kevinlove2002 My speedo was showing 113kmh before I braked, an mt09 speedo shows 5-10% higher number than the actual speed and then you can still remove 5kmh tolerance, so I wasn't going too fast at all. Look where she actually should have started turning in, she turned 20m too early without even seeing if there is oncoming traffic or not, if she would have turned later she would've seen me from 500m and I would've seen her, then I would've ridden slower and she would've seen, that she has to wait, because she's not allowed to take a turn when there is oncoming traffic with the right of way.
That ABS saving you on the quick front end grab. Honestly this is the exact reason why I ride a dirt bike, slide around in corners off road, ride as if anything can happened when I'm on the road. When riding/ driving on the road, complete carelessness on the part of some people is what kills... but cutting an intersection, going into the oncoming lane , while forcing someone else to go into the main road's oncoming lane... Honestly this is some criminal negligence. Also it seems like the road planning is good on that intersection, but it counts on people following the rules and not driving like psychopaths. Where I live, you'd never see an intersection built like this, because the planning took into consideration that people are dumb and do dumb shit. The simplest way to stop people from cutting intersections like this is putting curbs in the middle between the 2 lanes. Sadly when IQ goes down, driving culture does as well. I've seen way to many people drive on the road over the years to be optimistic, and I just dont trust anyone, especially those whom I dont know, with my life. Also last thing. For a road bike, especially mt9, this is quite a nice pace, you ride within your abilities, and dont risk it. But, the issue is that the perspective gets warped over time. For example, when a chill ride, becomes a ride in which you can just barely stop in time, from the moment of seeing and realising a threat, maybe it isnt such a chill ride anymore. In my view, the bmw (I think) that let you pass was riding at a chill pace. Minor critique but I hope you understand. Stay safe, ride safe, and enjoy this machine at a track, it's awesome. @@--LZ--- Yes you're right it wasn't a chill ride, that's why I put it in quotation marks ;) but it's also not on the limit like you said, however I did notice I should slow down when I can't see the road far ahead, it's less fun but rather be safe. Of course on a race track it's way better, but there is none close to me, it's just way easier to just sit on the street legal bike and go on a 1 hour ride after work. Nobody asked but I'm going to say it anyway for the back row: Wherever there is a side road followed by a blind turn, ALWAYS expect a car to show up around the bend "all of a sudden" to jump in front of you towards the side road, hoping to make it before you arrive. As the rider, you have to be defensive and plan for the worst possibility at all times. There's no point getting mad at other people, calling them names after the event happened. YOU should have slowed down for that junction+blind corner whether there was any visible traffic or not. You don't know what's around the corner and what they may do.
Very well handled that was some good riding and kept calm with her also might of been different if it was a male perhaps. I total agree always practices as it stops you panicing and sliding off love the road looked great ride safe keep shinny side up🏍

@@michaelsorensen2011 small road? She is literally on the wrong side of the road, a road known to be full of motorcycles because there are nice curves for kilometers. Also I wasn't fast, speedo showed 113kmh, mt-09 shows 5-10% higher number than the actual speed...
@@Zurl6321 That was my first thought as well but after checking their profiles, some of them are grown men. Scary to think there's many people who think like that on the road with us
