Join me on this wonderful spring tour to Mt.Alvier (7680ft) in Switzerland. To carry the skies up to the snow base was exhausting. Once on the skies it worked well up to the key passage, which was very icy, so I took the time to put the crampons on.
The takeoff with the glider was quite tricky, due changing wind directions and only little ski experience from the pilot ;-) (see after clip).
The bad glide performance of the xxLite, as well as a head wind made the flight a nerve wrecking experience, forcing me to choose another landing spot.
All in all a hard but wonderful tour!
