Mt Baldy summit at 11,405 feet elevation 

Brian and I hiked Mt Baldy, in the White mountains, which is the 2nd highest peak in Arizona next to Mt Humphreys! We logged a total of 17.1 miles in a single day from start to finish which is one of the longest hikes we've done for the year. It was mostly good trail with a few areas where we needed to step over downed trees. The accumulated elevation change was only about 2,400 feet which is a pretty mild slope for this length of a hike. The high temp at the summit was probably about 72 degrees while the high temp in Tucson this same day was supposed to be 110 ! This mountain is a great way to escape the summer HEAT!!
