This was the first time to the summit of Mt Barney for my son. A very windy day but good conditions overall for hiking. We managed to avoid the near vertical climb in the section after the tree climb to Notch. It was still extremely steep and exposed in this section and very dangerous. A great day on the mountain again, also joined by Peter Millar (our second time up Logans Ridge). Such a great hike. The last 200m elevation is brutal.
