Hwy 504 starts at Castle Rock and goes east 50 miles. Last gas at Toutle. The road ends at the Johnston Ridge Observatory - 4300 ft. It was $8 per person to enter - a bit steep, but I got in free with my NW Forest Pass. I think you could just park there for free. Lots of Harleys and crotch rockets. Tourists galore. Interstate 5 was busy on the return journey.
If you don’t like the music, just turn down the volume and play one of your favorite Michael Jackson or Country Music CDS instead. The video will still look good. Thanks.
