Our annual snow tour up to Mt Terrible with solid snow fall all weekend did not disappoint! We bunkered down at our overnight accommodation at The Gap Getaway with a consistent blizzard outside well into the night! Awesome vehicles, great tracks and a fantastic bunch of people!

Looks like a good trip, any idea what Donald track from Big River road to Mt Terrible is like ATM?

TheOldaz1 Donald track has had a heap of traffic during the winter and it’s chopped it up a bit as a result. I would not attempt it in snow like what we had

cold gold kb McAdams Gap near Woods Point. It’s predominantly a private venue for group bookings but is sometimes open on weekends and long weekends in peak seasons

Does mt terrible require any permits or special access in winter? What difficulty is the climb in snow ? chains required ?

P.O.D Enduro hey mate, no permits required and is not affected by seasonal closures. The climb varies depends which way you go head up, Mt Terrible Tk is the less challenging way. You should always carry snow chains in snow conditions in the Vic High Country 👍
