great choice, I as well had a '21 MT-07 purchased last July. Traded it last week for a '21 09 and haven't looked back, so much more fun and much much better sound imo.
The cruise control absolutely does it for me. The new XSR900 is an even better proposition. You don't get the fancy suspension of this SP, sure, but you get all the CP3 magic, this same cruise control system and a styling which doesn't make you vomit every time you look at it.
@@Moztreet The 2021 MT-09 looks good overall, except that headlight - the thing looks absolutely ridiculous. I actually did a video trying to make it acceptable, but the better option is to go for the new XSR.
@@motozest7856 nice video. I saw someone actually reposition the headlight on a Facebook page, it looked nice but the handlebars need to be pushed forward to be able to lower them.
I have an XSR and regret buying it, I'm in the prosses of changing for the MT right now, the seat is a nightmare, thought I could live with it but after riding for a few hours I could hardly walk, you also sit a fair bit further back so I found it less manoeuvrable especially on roundabouts or very tight turns, it certainly feel more stable than the MT and for me looks better, but I just wasn’t having any fun on it, I couldn’t get a test ride on the XSR so I went by all the reviews, having just taken an MT out I’m surprised how much different they feel, didn’t think a couple of inches movement here and there would make much difference, but for me personally it made a world of difference, didn't bother with the SP after reading your review as I'll never be racing it

I hate the color scheme of the sp but can’t justify not getting it. I’m just going to wrap the tank black and paint the wheels black whenever I need tires.
The exhaust in this video doesn't seem obnoxiously loud like most. I want a new exhaust for aesthetics mostly, but most are SO LOUD. The Dominator system with the twin mufflers ( or however it's called) is very appealing to me. I like to hear a bike, but I'm sick of loud bikes. Looking forward to what you decide to go with. Still can't believe you've got under 1k subs! Stay safe ✌️
This Akra Titanium exhaust is not loud at all but has a pleasing sound. I'm still trying to figure out what exhaust is best between the dominator hp4 or the New GP. My goal is to reach 1k subs buy the end of this month and have the exhaust ready for a killer video!
I am waiting for the HP3 exhaust with the mid muffler too. I will ceramic coat the full exhaust. I am willing to run it without an ecu flash that's why i ordered it with the mid muffler and db killer to have some restriction like the stock exhaust
Suspension and cruise control is worth the money. I have a 2023 and have ridden the base. Also had an fz07 for a few years. Zero question. It’s like comparing a base model car to a fully equipped one. No question
Get the two brothers full exhaust for the MT09 I also have the 2021 MT09 and have the two brothers on there and it sounds amazing I promise you it will sound way better than that dominator exhaust.
is the mt09 in TCS 2 and Dmode level 4 more punchy and agressive than a mt07 ? My question is probably strange but it's important for me. I ask me If I can buy a mt09 full for a beginner (in mode 4, of course) or If it's too punchy for a first bike...
If money wasn't an option, I would get the SP and change the color. But the base model here cost me $23k US and the SP is $3600 more. And still it depends on what you need, the suspension is great, the cruise control is absolutely uneccesary where I live.
the sp mt 09 is better equipped, it's not necessarily the best bike, the bike is the same ,.. and for a normal use and average rider the base version is enough and hardly manages to explore its full potential ,..I would too for the base model,..and I would be very satisfied, if I could change my mt 07, it would only be for this new mt 09 ,..and the base version compared to the previous mt09 version and even with other bikes of the same value, it is undoubtedly very well equipped with an excellent electronic package,..the sp is good yes, and more refined in the suspensions, which is useful for those who like to push more to the limit and do trackday,.. and of course for those who can , has money, and wants a more refined mt 09, however, both are good naked, same engine and chassis
@@MrRui33333 agreed. It is the same bike apart from the SP having better suspension and the addition of cruise control. The standard suspension isn’t bad at all and both bikes handle great on the road.
