excellent video. I enjoyed the quality as well as the commentary. it gives the experience of being there with you. I love your voice. reminds me of norm macdonald.
You mentioned fatigue on the climbs and trying a smaller chain ring. When I got my plus bike it was heavier than I was used to. I switched to an Eagle drivetrain and the 50 tooth has bailed me out when the day and/or the climb get too long. Gears are wonderful. The view of the town below at about 5:20 is incredible. We just don't get that in the midwest. Good video!

I like how when my dog poops I get a ticket if I neglect to clean it up, but these horses shit all over the place with zero consequence. Right in the middle of heavily trafficked singletrack no less. Smh.
lol this is true, but if you've not done it, its still fun. Still better than green mountain ;). Though White Ranch being so close to NTM, I totally would have gone there. And then regretted it a quarter of the way up the climb. And then remembered why I liked doing it a quarter of the way down the descent.
Very true with White Ranch. The climb is nasty (aren't they all?) but the descents so good... The locals do like to rip on NTM. The funny thing is that many areas would love the trails on NTM, but with White Ranch, Apex, Chimney Gulch, Golden Gate State Park on the doorstep, there are definitely nicer riding areas. Also, it's overly busy being surrounded by neighborhoods. Still if I lived at the base of NTM I would not complain...
