Watched this from Rarran's point of view and it was absolutely hilarious. I really hope someone sends this to Gotham Chess. Though I do think the poor chap would get an aneurysm trying to keep up with this.
She has such a engaging personality. I love watching her doing solo adventures because she is super fun to watch. I'm not an mtg type of person, but I may check some of her other content out later.
They both have the same chaotic confident energy, so everything just becomes a game of constantly trying to one up the other person. The best "more is more" dynamic I've ever seen.
Mad respect to both of you to be willing to do this for content. Honestly, chess is a difficult game, especially if you're hecking losing your mind live on stream. lol
I will say, Voxy's move at 7:04 is *dastardly* at this level. Since Rarran and Voxy are both, uh, inexperienced to say the least, a discovered attack is very difficult for them to see. If that was the intent of that move, that's legitimately a good observation for someone of this level.
@@Tomwithnonumbers Oh yeah, I'm impressed if she did it in order to set up a discovered attack, and I'm *very* impressed if she did it thinking that Rarran would miss it *because* discovered attacks are harder to find, but realistically from the rest of the play? It was... not that.

The reason why it ended up a draw at 22:37 its because Rarran did "endless check" which is a ground for a draw, if he pushed his other rook instead to fully corner the King or simply let Voxy hit the 10 mins mark he would have won instead 😂😂

So the lethal out in the final game of connect four, if rarran played in the middle, you would have blocked his connect 5, but then he would have won with a connect four above it.
