Get infinite 1/1 soldiers, infinite life, and deal infinite damage to yourself and opponents. One of the most satisfying parts of Magic: The Gathering is when you manage to put out some kind of infinite combo. The crazier the combo, the better.
The four pieces:
- Trostani, Selesnya's Voice
- Darien, King of Kjeldor
- Aetherflux Reservoir
- Creature Toughness Buff (Commander's Insignia, Path of Bravery, etc)
1. Conditions to start the combo. You'll want all four pieces on the battlefield, and over 100 life.
2. Use Aetherflux Reservoir to pay 50, deal 50 damage to yourself.
3. When the 50 damage is dealt, Darien, King of Kjeldor will cause you to put out 50 1/1 white soldier creature tokens, but if you have the creature toughness buff they'll come out 2/2, or even bigger.
4. When those 50 tokens enter the battlefield, you will gain 100 life (or more if you have something increasing the toughness of those tokens further) because of Trostani, Selesnya's Voice's ability.
5. Repeat step 2, letting 3 and 4 resolve each time.
