Hey! I just finished most of all your gameplay videos and I wanted to say that you guys make some of the best on table gameplay of MTG out there and I'm thankful for all the free content you provided. I understand that the pandemic and things haven't made making content easy, so no hurry but maybe one day I'll get to see your return. Hopefully both of you guys (and Steve) are doing well!
Next time Travis and I get together we'll discuss it a bit further. If we do end up doing it, I'm not sure if it'll be a straight-up MTG podcast though, as we may end up just talking about gaming in general. Still, I'd be pretty excited to give it a shot.
I'm hoping to start up again soon. It doesn't look like we'll be able to do face-to-face magic anytime soon due to pandemic restrictions, but I may just start streaming other games or posting other gameplay videos.
Tough match for Liliana. These mulligans compromised both games, and mana flood didn't help. A bit of a shame, that deck has great cards (Demonic Embrace for example). Looking forward for next game of the series. Great video as always, your editing is amazing, keep it up guys!
I didn't buy the Lilli deck but I built a Mono-Black version, then I tinkered with the Garruk deck. Neither is very good by itself but Garruk with Basri is decent enough. Basri by himself is pretty decent though. 👍
@@hcfc4248 Chandra's deck is a good choice. The planeswalker have good abilities which are helpful for commander format too! You can also make it very powerful with some upgrades
A happy day with more mana cave! Great to see you guys back at it again. Is there still anyway to get the tokens from the token of the month club?? I feel late to the party and now like I've missed out. Also I would totally listen to the brainpulp podcast 😅
Hey, Keeplatts. I keep meaning to set something up where folks who missed out can get their hands on the tokens, but I've been slacking. I'll make my personally mission to try and have something set up by mid October though. I'll keep you posted in a future update video.

I bought both of this decks. Garruk's deck is MUCH stronger then Liliana's. Way more creatures and effects, so the weak 1/1s, 2/1 etc. can hardly keep up. I think I won once with Liliana, and that was just because Garruk got mana flooded.
Day 208 without brainpulp. My mind started playing tricks on me, I see mana cave in my dreams every night. I've watched every mana cave 3 times, I remember every game. When shall my salvation come? When will I be saved? Am I doomed in this purgatory... It's slipping through my fingers like a... sand through an hourglass... So are the days of our lives without brainpulp 😵
I bought the basri deck. Literally my first mtg cards ever. I want to learn how to play so ive been watching. Still have many questions. But i think im getting the hang of it. And i play alone. Idk anyone who plays MTG..
Regarding 38:51 Looking at the pairings, Teferi is getting 2 byes. A first round AND a second round. He should at least have to beat the looser of Basri vs Garruk. Jus sayin 😄
95% of the time all the sleeves you see on camera are Dragon Shield brand sleeves. I've pretty much used every colour they have in stock, and we've used both matte and classic (smooth) finish ones, and I highly recommend them to anyone. In the few games you'll see where there is a printed design on the back of the sleeves (like a full are land pic), those are all Ultra Pro sleeves.
Sadly I'm not sure. Due to local restrictions there is currently no way for Travis and I record face-to-face stuff. And, since they didn't include codes for MTGA with the Challenger Decks, building all four decks with MTGA's wildcard system isn't feasible for both of us, so it's not likely to happen there either. That leaves MTGO, but I don't think either of us are crazy about that option.
I'm doing okay. Just taking some time to figure out what kind of gameplay I'm going to be producing for the channel since I'm still not able to record live face-to-face Magic for the foreseeable future due to pandemic restrictions in our area. I just chatted online with Travis the other day about other stuff we could play, so hopefully there will be new videos out soon.
