A lot of people are talking about how John won the fight over Evan, but you have to really watch the fight and understand how they are scored. A lot of people think that the first two rounds were a lot closer than they were. However, Evan was landing some BIG kicks, and back to back...not to mention the sweep which was pretty great. In the first two rounds, John was having trouble landing meaningful shots that really rocked Evan. By the third round, Evan was gased but he knew he had the first two rounds. That's why he was watching the clock. John went hyper offensive and exploded in the final round because he knew he had lost the first two and his only chance was to make up the difference, and he might have if not for the fact that some of Evan falling down was due to his own footwork, not really as many sweeps...though he got caught a few times. Finally, the thing that lost John the fight, and it is something they comment on all throughout the final round is...Evan didn't stop scoring. He picked his shots, and did it very intelligently...slipping in points where he could so that even though I would say John won the final round...Evan still had points on top of the two rounds that came before where he was probably well in the lead.
@@WealthPowerful Again, you have to understand how they are scored. It's not just about landing big shots. Many of John's shots were glancing blows because Evan was countering, countering scores really well. Not to mention that when Evan fell it was because he fell, not cause he was knocked down.
@@anianova ye so the fall should of been a deduction from his score because if this was a real street fight we all know Evan would’ve got his shit rocked
@@WealthPowerful But it's not a street fight. It's a sports fight, with rules, and specific scoring. It's not so much that the fall didn't deduct points. It's that there's a difference from accidentally falling and getting knocked down. Regardless of what would have happened, what DID happen is Evan landed more cleaning and more often in the early rounds, and John didn't do enough in the later rounds to make up for that.
i love how the clip at 14:34 clearly shows shink's foot slip twice and yet commentators say he was wrongly blaming the floor lmao where do u get these guys
Evan is my man but he lost this contest. Round 1 very even. Round 2 Even. Round 3 John had Evan all the way. If this was 5 rounds Evan would not have won. I don't think he deserved this win. I wouldn't call it cheating by the Brits though. I think a rematch is in order and not in the UK.
@@iamseagull5609 It is important in this case, because Jay Evans has never knocked out anyone I know, he always wins by points and at a higher level of competition that is a disadvantage by not being in the habit of receiving "really strong" blows, which happened against mixco who knocked him out. I think Jay has done badly to win his fights for points and not risk winning by knockout, who risks knocking out also receives punches and learns to endure them. Either way Evans is still my favorite, I see him very noble in the ring.
what a bunch of crap, black dude was the aggressor and landed way more power shots. evan may have won the slap boxing match but other then that he got his ass kicked. cant tell if he was scared or gassed but the judges should of watched the fight from my laptop i guess
If y'all knew how the scores are counted y'all won't be saying any of those. Its clear to see Evan took more beating but John kept hitting randomly where the scores don't even count.
this fighting league should be permanently banned from doing fights, they are extremely racist. everyone knows that Evan jays did not win that fight at all
Muay Thai without hurled If hurled, it will receive a warning from the judge But i don't know boxing Can it hurled? In which the director did not warn Because I don't know the rules of boxing.
so since everyone is so dumbfounded let me explain this to you. The one round the black fighter dominated does not make up for the other two that jays had. He landed more tactical strikes and earned the victory, stop trying to blame everything on race. They both fought well but in the end Jay's won simple as that
Para mi gano el negro por que le dio buenos golpes y es más activo si hubiera avido más tiempo lo parte se nota que no estaba dando todo por que le daba pena si mira el cuerpo del negro de un frontal le parte el pecho pero a sido buena pelea jajaja
dont know... im even try by playing the video by computer, and when Evan's soundtrack came out, i try click Shazam in my phone. Still doesnt work LOLOLOLOL 🤣🤣
