MTH Premier 4-6-6-4 Challenger released in February 2024 and acquired in May. This was the first time I ran it. Item 20-3895-1, purchased from Mr. Muffin's Trains. It has the excursion scheme with silver painted axle journals on locomotive and oil tender, (I like the removable smoke deflectors). But in our world of toy trains, she is hauling freight back in 1940's. She is a great runner and very strong puller. 3985 is pulling a mixed freight of all MTH die-cast semi scale rolling stock. It was a very heavy train. The LED lights appear to be blinking (or pulsating), to the naked eye, they are not. It's the LED's and digital camera's refresh rate out of sync.
