MTR Shatin to Central Link

Description: Shatin to Central Link (SCL) is a 17km-long railway line expansion undertaken by MTR in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. The project involves stretching the line from Tai Wai to Hung Hom and Hung Hom to Admiralty sections, linking a number of existing railway lines passing through several districts in Hong Kong. Project involves construction of a 1.8km twin railway tunnels, a new underground station with interchange facilities, as well as ventilation buildings and shafts in Wan Chai of the Hong Kong Island - one of the most built-up and busiest commercial areas in the territory.
