I didn't always like everything on Alternative Nation but God damn at least bands weren't afraid to do their own thing back then. I mean you might see Primus, Green Day, Nine Inch Nails and Sonic Youth all back to back. Talk about some variety. Bands these days are scared shitless to try anything new. Go tune in to an alternative radio station today I bet you can't tell one band apart from the next it's disgusting.

Yes they did, especially when it came to something like "The Crow," which was not just a 20 page comic when it first came out.

I 😬 so much now whenever I see these older videos and they start discussing Animation or Graphic Novels & use the words “Cartoons” & “Comics” when talking about stuff that is clearly not for a younger audience.

Libertarian socialists, sjw types, are certainly not right-leaning, are they? Yes, capitalism in essence is liberal. Capitalism is typically associated with those classical liberal values such as free speech, free press, free markets, etc. that were enshrined in our Constitution during The Enlightenment. This is probably where we get the accurate term "liberal media," as the media at present represent a corporate elite class, more beholden to banks than the general public. The 90% of 'left' media that you rightly observe is more oriented toward big business, advertisement, commerce, etc., though they do support the state and its actions without question, because this same class naturally controls the state. Wouldn't you agree? I could give examples of where this is prevalent if you'd like. Now the conservative right in America has a much more complicated relationship to capitalism, I'd say. If you were to take the liberal media to represent (however inaccurately) capitalism as an idea, then you could say the right is typically hostile towards capitalism. That is, conservatives want something else to replace the capitalist elite class. And I would say that the Right has re[de]fined capitalism to mean what you called "real socialism," what I'd call national socialism, but with borders of course lol. So while it is true that I hate right wing propaganda a bit more than left wing propaganda, I still hate propaganda, and more than you do.
