Im Mexican and my professor for my health promotion class showed us this show to explain the health messages drom this TV show targeted for the Nigerian youth. Im liking this show!!!
That principal/headmistress is *hilarious* The way that wig shook when she was scolding them took the cake. 🤣🤣 Diana and her minions just need one good dragging from the underdog and it's a wrap. The girl is playing a game that she's not ready for. #fastgirl
chris maloney as a Nigerian and scrolling through comments, even though I love Nigeria it is indeed just getting rude every single comment you have to say something totally unnecessary , AFRICA IS ONE BIG FAMILY ,

Adenike O. Adebayo lol sis i see you everywhere. From sisi yenmie to dinma umeh’s channel to others i cant remember and now mtv shuga too. You are so active. Naija no dey carry last 😂🙌🏼
I love how inquisitive Cynthia is. And the seriousness with which she asked the teacher to tell them about contraceptives. As much as abstinence is a beautiful concept, I think we should let our teenage girls in on other available options. I know it irks the average African guardian, but better to be safe than sorry. #mtvshuganaija #NothingStaysTheSame #CynthiaShuga #TheUzoamakaPower
What kind of students are this chaiiiii 😂😂😂😂. Anyway am not surprised that how many students are all over. The head mistress is something else strange she fit to retire now 😂😂😂😂😂. Rahama is the best teacher ever she's understanding, nice and just so perfect I love her and she's a lovely wife too😍😍😍
I was hoping we'd keep on going to different African countries. The different perspectives from Kenya to Nigeria to S.A were pretty cool. I was excited to see other cultures
Am your biggest fan here in spain...loved how one minute Cynthia was being humble cz the other girl was bullying her then inquisitive about a subject deemed as taboo in Africa. To peer pressuring kiss her kiss her lol classic teenager times. Way to go Cynthia, I am proud of you, sky is the limit
MTV Shuga is one of the best shows out of Naija and Africa! I've actually been enjoying the audio versions of the show on the *Genti Audio* app on my Tecno phone. All the enjoyment, but I get to save my data.
I love this series. Please kindly include the subtitles for all. My friend who is neither a Nigerian nor an African would like to watch. He is a non-English speaker as well.
I don't know, but there's just something about the Character 'Cynthia'. She's just so likable and I just have this feeling that she's going to end up changing into the worst of these girls. Lol. But let me just keep watch quietly. I can't wait for episode 2!!!
Tobi hasn't been the same since the situation with him and Princess in season 3. Because in season 4, he was a completely different person. It's almost as if he just want to use and damp women, no emotional attachment...😡😡
Mercy Guma I miss him too 😔😔 Don't even know who this fellow is.. I need Babe back.. It took me Episode 2 to recognize that was my sweetheart.. Now I'm heartbroken. So sad 😭😭😢😢
Oh I love this show! The school parts are FIRE! Can we all just agree that Cynthia is/was us and we are/were Cynthia, even for a minute in our teenage lives? Looking forward to other episodes and hoping she (and the others) does well.
I grew up watching Nigerian movies so the lingo, idioms and nuances are very familiar to me. With that said, I very much appreciated the different perspective the show took when it was featured in other countries. I know it may be easier to film in already established movie industries but it'd be nice if they gave us other perspectives after all HIV is a pandemic disease in Africa as a whole (some places more than others) and epidemiology shows its increase in especially urban and upbeat regions of the continent especially among young and educated populations even as people become aware of it. I enjoyed Lupita's acting in the Kenyan take and loved the first Nigerian series too as well as the South African series. I hope this one proves just as well as the others but looking forward to other takes from other regions of the continent. Maybe North Africa soon. It'd be nice to see a united continent on the fight against HIV and AIDS. I know that's idealistic as there is a lot that goes into its production than simply granting fans' wish but one can only dream. Keep up the good work all!
LMFAO WHY DID THEY TRANSLATE THE HEADMISTRESS'S "EHHEH," to "REALLY" IN THE SUBTITLES. 8:25 I'm really dying laughing. Noises really have meanings in Africa.
Philip Lewis why will they take it to Ivory Coast when they don’t even speak English? They should create a Shuga for Francophone countries if they want Shuga there.
Why not they could put subtitles which is not that expensive to do.One of the backers is Bill & Melinda Gates & of coarse this program originally started to make young people on the continent aware of aids & the pitfalls of going into relationships with blessers etc.I imagine the same type of problems exist in Ivory Coast & Senegal for example.
