Rodtang Jitmuangnon (131lbs,RED) vs Rodlek Jaotalaytong (133lbs,BLUE). Rodtang and Rodlek fight on the "Jitmuangnon" promotion at Rajadamnern Stadium, Bangkok. HD, Edited by Timo Ruge
This video literally shows the heart of Thai people. They are the gentlest , kindest people I have ever met. In the 5th round Rodtang could not see and Rodlek stopped fighting , instead went to hug him . Yes they have to fight , because that’s their living but most of all is the honor and respect they give to each other and that is why I love this sport. Chok dee to Rodtang and Rodlek , both legendary fighters
has nothing to do with that. not fighting in last round for the winning fighter is how you guarantee your win in the judges eyes so you don't look desperate. pretty common for fights basically to stop halfway through round 5.
@@Boutscar yup Rodlek is a pressure fighter because he’s smaller then most people he fights. Rodtang is also a pressure fighter for the same reasons but when you put 2 pressure fighters against each other, one has to fight on the back foot.
JohnJ Kh To Haggerty. In Muaythai if you versus มวยหมัด (Punch style) you have to ถีบ(Pushkick), Kick and ศอก (elbow) dont let him come in ... it so dangerous. And in Muaythai เชิงหมัด(punch style) Always lose เชิงเข่า (knees style) because มวยเชิงเข่า(knees style) have clinch techniques and ศอก (elbows) so it hard to come in . But this fight Rodlek just cant use the knees.
you just couldn't be beaten up by a nicer guy than Rodtang. He is just so talented. Rodlek catches his leg at 3:20 and watch him first get a good jab in then leap up and take Rodlek in a clinch. He was in control the whole time.
Have become a huge fan of Rodlek Recently. Petchyindee, Saenchai, Buakaw, Song-O, Rodlek, Rodtang. Some of my favs. I know I’m missing a lot! Can’t wait to research some more legendary fighters and footage. 🔥
when i was younger, i love to watch Sak Kaopon Lek (The Black Spider) super strong left kick & great right hook,he also fight Kickboxing in Glory before retired. But the best of all time for is always Samart Payakaroon.
At first I thought the referee was not good and not looking at the torso and up and only seeing waist down. The more I watched the more I realised that this referee is amazing and could see what I didnt see from the beginning.
Rodtang has speed and power in every technique. And the sheer diversity is pretty impressive. Strong chin, plays and has fun in there, relaxed between bursts. Rodtang's a body killer, as anyone with big relative power especially should be. I hope he stays active. Who, pound for pound would beat the current one champion rodtang in that ruleset? I mean all of muay thai history, if they challenged under the one championship ruleset, and were all same exact weight as rodtang, so any fighter in history, who would you favor to beat that rodtang in those rules, those little gloves. I guess payakaroon would teep him and slip backwards and out point him, and has probably even better punching anyway, even lb for lb. I guess Diesel's knees would wreck the short rodtang, who would have to rely on his elbows in tight while getting kneed. Who wins that one? All I mean to say is, Rodtang, right now, looks like a generational talent. Very special. Think for a moment how he's basically always the smaller man in there, even when fighting other elite thai fighters. He always looks smaller. And as clever as saenchai is, and agile and defensive... I think pressure rodtang with little gloves gets to him and beats him up at some point.
